Inspired by Africa

I’m not sure how many of you watched Sir David Attenborough's new series “Africa” but let me tell you it was awe inspiring, I sat mesmerised, willing it not to end.

Those that missed it can catch it on BBC iplayer.

So that was totally responsible for inspiring my next card.

Meet G-fa Giraffe from Mo’s Digital Pencil

G-fa1

I tried to keep to the warm spicy tones for the papers and I think it worked quite well.

I used the MFT Flag dies to cut the shapes and got the Paper, twine and flower from Ribbon Carousel and a button from Dainty Paperie to complete the look.

I used Kraft card and distressed the edges.

I didn´t see this show, but I´ve always loved to see his shows over the years, as they´re just brilliant, I can only agree to that, and your card is brilliant as well. So awesome work here again and such warm colors, who really gives you a nice and warm feeling just by looking at it here. Wonderful work as always Jak.

Love your giraffe and yes saw the programme, still stunned by the giraffe's fighting and the cheeky little bird imitating the meercat.

Oh dear Jak, you've made me spend some more pennies ! Just couldn't resist this gorgeous animal - giraffes are my favourite, such elegant creatures, and those eyelashes are to die for. Mosdigitalpencil images are always superb, and your colouring is an inspiration. I don't suppose I can get anything near to yours but I will keep practising !
