Swirlalicious Tattered Lace

Ok so I have a favourite, I love this Flourish Swirls folder and die set from Tattered Lace, it makes such an easy elegant card.

Flourish Swirls3

Cream and gold elegant and easy.

I promised to show you my new car, so here are some images, did you know it parks itself? I’m too chicken to trust it though, I much prefer to trust my own judgement.

Flourish Swirls with Tattered Lace

It has been so long since I have done some crafting just for myself and after buying the Tattered Lace Embossing Folders with matching Dies I thought it was time to get cracking.

This one is the Flourish Swirls set.

Flourish Swirls1

I embossed Parchment Paper and used the Perga Pens to colour the back of the Parchment where it was embossed.

Flourish Swirls2

I used the dies to cut 2 parchment Flourish Swirls and 2 from Blue card and added them on top of a laced velvet ribbon then topped the card with a satin bow and some pearls.

Tattered Lace May Challenge

Mays challenge is here and this month the theme is Romance and Roses and I did cheat a little, I was so busy with Create and Craft that it just crept up on me, so the romance is all with tattered lace and the roses ahem is one prima rose at the top.

I made a very clean and simple card using Church (D332) and the Ornate Cross (D246)

I embossed the church die onto the aqua card and then cut around it and then cut out the church in white and over laid it onto the embossed aqua card. It makes a lovely effect.

Now please join in the challenge, it is fun and you get a chance of winning a prize too.

Tattered Lace Lavish Blooms

So excited to be on the Tattered Lace Design Team, I know this is going to be great fun.

If you didn’t know already there is a Challenge Blog here and this month the challenge is using at least one of the Lavish Bloom sets.

For this card I have used the Lavish Blooms Poppy, Lavish Bloom Leaves and Lavish Blooms Stamen.

Lavish Blooms Poppy1

Those that know me will also know that I adore poppy’s.

I used the lace poppy and cut into it to make the butterflies on the corners and used Mei flower pearls for the little heads.

Lavish Blooms Poppy2

I also played with folding the small poppy bloom to make it a little more 3D
