Have you got it?

Not one embellishment, no ribbon, or double sided tape, I didn’t even use a self adhesive pearl or Copic or Promarkers, cuttlebug sat feeling lonely alongside my designer papers, I didn’t even use a digi stamp, craft knife, scissors, glitter or a guillotine.

I did however use a sentiment.

So after an awful day (Thursday)I seemed to have lost my MoJo, have you got it?

I thought it would be nice to show you some more of my holiday snaps from the Lake District I thought I’d best show the first in a card form.

Big Girl Pants–Card

big girl pants2

Big Girl Pants Digital Stamp by Mo’s Digital Pencil I fell in love with this image as soon as I saw it, such a cutie, we often see images with children dressing in their Mums clothes but it is generally dresses and so this one makes a refreshing change and is sure to bring a smile from ear to ear.

big girl pants1

Just look at those spotty frillies, I kept to pastel shades with this one and the lavender designer papers seemed perfect for the job, inexpensive ones too by Craft Creations, I used a Labels nestablilites die from Spellbinders to cut out the image and coloured her ith Copic Markers. Ribbon, dainty dots and a stick pin to finish.

Sticky–Christmas Card

I love frosted colours for Christmas, it makes such a change from the traditional colours.

The image I’m using today is called Sticky from Mo’s Digital Pencil. Coloured with Copic Sketch Markers mainly the BG colours then used frosted stickles by ranger to add some sparkle here and there.

Sticky1

I found this pretty designer paper while I was away but the perferation name strip at the bottom of the 12 x 12 scrapbook paper was missing so I haven’t a clue whick company made it but it has embossed puffed up snowflakes on it which have a bit of frosted glitter over them. I added some pearls to the centers. I used paper punches to cut out the circles from the paper and base card and added a snowflake in the gap using thread so that it will spin.

Thank You and our Anniversary Day

I was so thrilled when i saw all of the wonderful Anniversary wishes from you all, that was so sweet of you all. We had a wonderful day which started with a lovely day out on a venture across Wrynose and Hardknot Pass, I may tell you that this is not for the faint hearted as the drive is a 1 in 3 gradiant drive over the hills (butt clenching stuff) but the views that bestowed us were breath taking beautiful. We headed off the beaten track and ended up at Wastwater and oh my giddy aunt it was haunting.

Wastwater

Wastwater1

It was quiet and secluded and left us gasping at the views

On our return we opened the door to our room and found these.

flowers

Chris the owner of the guesthouse had bought us flowers and a card, wasn’t that lovely.

Then on the evening we went out for a fabulous Indian meal which finished our day off perfectly.

Chris has been a busy bee updating his blog so if you haven’t already had a peek you can do so here
