My Up & Coming Star

I would like to introduce you to one of my daughters, Natalie. She is currently studying Advanced Musical Theatre at college, she is 16 years of age and in my opinion has a wonderful singing voice even though she have had no previous training.

She decided that she would like to raise money for a Young Firefighters Group in our local home town of which she is involved in, by organising a charity night of which she would put on the entertainment.

She raised in total £832.00. If you would like to hear her sing on that evening click here all be it the recording was took from the back of the hall where it was a little noisy but you can still hear her fine.

Below is a couple of pictures of her.

This one was taken for her school prom

And this was for a fancy dress, she even had her long hair cut like this for it.

and this one was at a dance festival

Ribbon

I found the most gorgeous ribbon it is so rich and scrumptious that I had to set to and make a card straight away with it, it was so expensive I tried to figure a way of using a little but still showing it off.
The stamp I used for the lady is a clarity Stamp and one of my favorites I stamped it with Archival ink the painted it with watercolours.
Used plenty of matting and layering in deep and light pink and used a classic green card base
The accent stamps and the sentiment were stamped with Papertrey ink stamps.

I love the colour that Lynn has used, it makes it very Chic.
Fabulous card Lynn Thank you

Birthday Card

The embossed oval on the card was made using the Spellbinders Nestabilities ovals
Stamped the flowers and stalks using the Papertrey Ink Woman of Life stamps
and using Brilliance inkpads. using the Nestabilities again I cut out two ovals 1 plain and 1 scalloped
and stamped the sentiment in the middle of the white oval, added the ribbon to match.
