My Memory Keepers Stamping System

So my Stamping has never been a problem for me, yet I was intrigued by the MMK CMYK Stamping system thinking of accuracy and learning my grandson how to use stamps.

So we played with it and he loved it but more than that, so did I.

I had promised to make a picture for my friend Nigel May who incidentally is not just a presenter but also an accomplished author of some very juicy novels.

I knew the typewriter stamp would be perfect for him. I made several of the stamped images and made a 3D decoupage picture, I created the background and yes it also has a typo. Added a bit of sparkle and some black ribbon to look like the inked typewriter ribbon.

Well worth the investment, loved it.

Something different for Couture Dies

We always seam to focus on card making don’t we? so, lets mix it up a little.

This one was made using The adoring Collection and also Mariposa Collection.

Yes it is Chris and myself, one for the scrapbook.

Now my next one is a Beautiful gift box using the Mariposa Collection from Couture Dies.

The Perfect Gift

Friends of ours Peter and Sue have took the plunge and opened their own photography studio, up until now they have always been mobile, there base was always their home and the business took over their home time. I’m always in awe of those brave enough to take that step, dedication and hard work.

Their new premises is in Coxhoe, County Durham and I will be posting all about it later, you will recall Chris’s long service official photographs yes? well it was Peter and Sue who did them.

So open day is Saturday coming and as Chris and I are invited to it and I really needed to find a little gift to take along to wish them well.

I found the perfect thing. Hand crafted too.

An SLR Camera that is a box that I can fill with sweets for them.

 

It even has a lens, isn’t it cool?

The old photographs are my family.

Just look at the detail.

I hope they will like it, I’ve also been busy making some Photo Booth Props and I will show you those later.

Talented Friend

You know sometimes you just have to share a bit of love, I have a crafty friend who is never far away from her camera, this year she has took some outstanding pictures, she isn’t a blogger but she is on Facebook and with her permission I made a 2014 calendar with some of her pictures.

Little Shepherd Boy

I know I am bias but it has to be sad Jack makes a very angelic shepherd boy, he had his Nativity play at school and even had some lines to rehearse and was so pleased with himself for knowing them off by heart.

he stayed over with us last night, so he came out with us shopping today and was as good as gold, we went to our local butchers to get the meat for the week and something which Jack calls my special meat and he had 3 slices of it, actually it is tongue, much to his Mams dismay he loves it after trying some I bought for myself.
