So set your TV recordings and enjoy the Royal Wedding of Prince William to Kate, I’m eagerly watching to see Kate's dress and no doubt it will be as beautiful and elegant as Kate is herself.
I’ve heard all of the arguments on how much this wedding will cost the UK but just ask yourselves this…… How much will it cost for another Bank Holiday? yet I bet very few of those arguing the cost of the Wedding will refuse the extra day off work.
I for one like our Royals and think they do our country a lot of good, I know first hand that many of my friends in overseas countries are excited to watch this wedding.
Such expectations of a future king and don’t they just make a gorgeous looking couple.
As of yesterday I now have my own Mother of the Bride outfit ready for my own daughters wedding and I even found a hat that doesn’t make me look like Freddy Parrot Face.
Who ever and where ever you are enjoy this Royal Wedding day.
I used two separate digital stamps one from Just Inklined the Fairy Toadstools which are free when you join the Just Inklined group on Crafters Digital Art Center the link is on my side bar and I’d love to see you there. The other is from Crafts and Me digital stamps and is called Noon.
I coloured the artwork using Copic Sketch Markers I used the border system from Tonic Studios to create the fancy borders on the Designer paper, a ribbon some blossoms and some pearl stems and a bit of love to bring it all together.
Captain Jack! definitely worthy of a peck on the cheek! Ooooh Arghhhhhh!
Such a beautiful Cathedral in York don’t you think?
Beautiful inside and out!
And the quaint little narrow street were alive with folk out for the day.
So that is what I got up to on Bank Holiday Monday here in the UK, I came home worn out and shattered and curled up on the sofa with the poorly blanket.
Isn’t this just the sweetest darn thing ever?
Sadie and The Potting Bench are by Mo Manning and they are just made for each other, I could have merged the two images together but I felt that Sadie needed to stand out a little more and I wanted you to see the cute birdhouse on the potting bench.
I used Basic Grey designer paper and coloured the images with Copic Sketch Markers used a pretty spring green satin ribbon and made some roll up roses to match the colour scheme.
Well today I started a new journey on the hair front, as you know I have an important wedding ahead of me in just seven weeks I will be the Mother of the Bride and I needed something fresh doing so I had my hair highlighted and the start of a new style cut into it. So maybe it’s that that got me in a fruity mood but who knows ha ha ha.
So Little Umbrella Digital Stamp by Mo Manning was coloured and made up with a Fruit Salad feel to it. Coloured with Copic Sketch Markers and Prisma Pencils and teamed with Stampin Up designer papers, I love the fact that she is curvy.
Clowns, Fairy floss, sticky fingers, squeals of delight and of course complaints of sore feet near the end of the day... Where are we?

Sorry for the late posting, I went back to work today and boy was it a rough day, by lunchtime I thought I was going to have to come home but I managed to stay and then luckily Chris is a dab hand in the kitchen so he prepared and made dinner and I sat relaxing.
I was trying to make a card after dinner and I clean forgot about drawing a winner, do without further ado.
The winner is 97. Lisa Crampton, Congratulations Lisa send me an email with your details sweetie and I’ll get your prize posted out to you.
A touch of elegant charm to my next card, Corset is a digital image from A Day for Daisies and can be purchased here
Coloured with Copic Sketch Markers and Prisma pencils, I used the Tonic Studios Punch System to create the fancy border work, pretty designer papers from DCWV and created little flower from the same paper add a diecut vine and some pearls and tied it all together with a beautiful satin ribbon.
PS.... Back back is hopefully on the mend, still a long way to go but definately a big improvement.
