And the quaint little narrow street were alive with folk out for the day.

So that is what I got up to on Bank Holiday Monday here in the UK, I came home worn out and shattered and curled up on the sofa with the poorly blanket.

What can I say, as a Doctor Who fan I was looking for a very different Captain Jack! Who would still get a kiss on the cheek! ;)

I do love York, I must admit - lots of walking, though!

I should have been in York next week but cicumstances dictated otherwise! But thankyou for bringing York to me in your lovely photos. I live in France now with my husband, but we used to live in Stamford Bridge - a village only a stones throw from our home town, York!
Best wishes,
Au revoir,
Sylvia Mathison.

Lovely place isn't it Jak. Never been inside the "Minster" but have been along that street "The Shambles" i think it's called. Was a lot of years ago that i was there. Wish i had gone inside the "Minster" now!
