My Craft Space

Who lives in a house like this...
Though the door, as you can see it is aptly named ( the box room)
Small but never the less beautiful in my eyes.

This unit sits along ade my desk, it has 2 draws in the top compartment.
The red canisters on the top are tea caddy's but are perfect for pens.

I don't suppose you'll be surprised to see what is in the top draw.

and in the bottom draw...

These shelves are fit directly above my desk.

I love this rail that is fitted above my desk it is a kitchen rail from Ikea and it should have pans hanging off the hooks but I find it perfect for scissors and the likes which keeps my work surface free from clutter.

I've found a home for some of my wood mounted stamps. I still need a few more of these red baskets to make best use of the shelves

This is the top of the unit as you can see my lovely husband has still to move some of his tools (sigh)

This is the bottom of the unit.

As you can see from this image some of my shelves have still to be filled which will not be a problem once I get everything down from the loft. You may also have noticed the step ladder hiding round the corner, I need this to reach some of the shelves.

I hope you enjoyed the little tour

Jak I love your room, it is so clean and organized. I really like the painting on the way, did you do that? It is beautiful.

Jak - this is way too tidy and organised! I'm only jealous really. All my craft stuff is just on shelves that we have had for years and not ideal for the job. Enjoy playing in your craft haven.

I'm pleased to see that you have finally got your craft room. It looks absolutely fantastic and really jealous because I have only got a desk and a few cupboards in my bedroom of all places.

Hi Jak,
Thank you for showing us your lovely cards & craft room. It is so organised but seeing the photos has given me some good ideas to sort my craft space too, in particular the rail from Ikea as I have ribbons falling about everywhere. I just have a small area in my bedroom so space is at a premium.

Jak, It's jealousy talking here, I just love your craft room. I have a craft table but it's supposed to be a dining table. It holds a cereal bowl on the cutting mat each morning - no room for anything else. lol

Your hanging rail is the best idea yet. On my way to IKEA now.lol
