Blog Candy...

As I am celebrating the release of Remember When... Series 2 decoupage due in shops 16th June.

I would like to give away some of the new Remember When... series2, 1 set in Colour and 1 set in Sepia along with foam pads and double sided tape to allow the winners to create 3 stunning cards each.

How to win...

All you have to do to enter is go to the La Pashe website and take a look at the RememberWhen... series1 then return to here and leave a comment of what you think the new series will be. It's that easy.

I will make the draw on Thursday 12th of June by using a Random Integer Generator and the first 2 numbers drawn will win.

My guess that it will be something for the ladies. The local corner shop maybe, butchers and a bit of gossip on the street?

My guess is, a la Les Dawson, two women chatting over the garden fence with washing on the line and a little girl tugging at Mum's skirt.

My guess is going to be :-

Blacksmiths
factory workers (ie, the end of shift whistle & everyone leaving on their pushbikes)
Mums at the market

Good luck everyone xxx

I think they'll be of holidays by the sea/beach huts and those wonderful bathing costumes, steam trains and a street scene -with women "redding" the front doorstep with their hair in curlers under a scarf wrapped around their chins and kids playing!

hmmmmmmmm tricky cause it could be for women but then again possibly sticking with male theme as the colours suit them.
I would say another sport, hobby type thing, another pub one - darts maybe, and another industry - maybe shipping.

Not sure what it could be, ut I'll give it a try!

Old cobbled back with washing hanging across it, the 'hovis' cobbled hill, victorian ladies palying croquet, old school room, a tea shop, factory girls leaving work, a tea dance...it could be anything!!!!

Whatever it is, I can't wait!!!

I think it will be one for the ladies . Ideas that come to mind cotton mill workers, mother mangling, land girls, old bathing machines/seaside, old-fashioned picnic, shopkeepers - bakers or ye olde sweet shoppe. Might even be children with old toys - tops, hoops etc.

Well if it isn't - it probably will be in the future!

Oh I have to hope it goes with the mothers/kids theme too.

Kids playing in the street (hoops, hopscotch type of thing), Mothers at the shop counter, old scales and buying "by the pound".
Either way I bet they will be great.

Something to do with old transport, bikes/cars/buses/trams

Anonymous said...

I think that the new series will be about the seeside and mam and child on the old cobbled streets abd shops like Beamish and old trams

I think it will be greyhound racing, growing leeks and a day at the seaside.

I think it's going to be aimed at the ladies - chatting over the fence, that kind of thing

Looking forward to seeing them

I think it will be old fashioned shops where there was no such thing as self service but where shopkeepers always made you feel welcome.

Well ths men have had a go in the run up to Fathers Day so I think in the run up to the summer holidays it will be something like the Blackpool trams, donkeys on the beach and chips out of newspaper. Love the coloured images by the way - hard to choose now which I like best. Thanks for this bit of fun Jak.

i think it could be for the ladies, a couple of ladies in pinnies chatting over the fence. The beach would be good all beach huts and long stippy beachwear.

Look forward to finding out.

Series 1 is absolutely wonderful and so I think the series 2 will be the 3 services Policemen, Firemen and Ambulance crews all in the 1940's or 50's

What ever they are I can't wait as series 1 was so easy to do and so stunning on the eye

Hiya I think your second set of images will be about ladies and the outfits that they were in the 1950's their flowing dresses, big hats, fancy shoes etc. Mother and daughter obviously cause we can't have it all men LOL. Hope I'm right and I would love to win some candy xoxo Karen

I think it will be a lady... possibly Victorian or in the kitchen. Since the man is very homey, I think the lady will be, too.
