Monday Night is our quality time with Grandson Jack.
Tonight he went for a long stroll with Granda in his new pushchair, we had bought one for home previously but we both hated it, we kept stepping on the brake and all but going head first over the handle was a nightmare.
Tonight Jack graced us with one of those nappies that no one wants to have to deal with, squishing out the sides up his back and even in his tummy button (urghhhhh)
What a palava, we whipped off the nappy and I held him at arms length whilst Granda tried best he could to wipe him down.
Auntie Natalie cockled and ran out of the room.
I then tried to strip him as the bath was the only place he was going to get clean and by this time it was all over his vest and my hands.
You'll be pleased to know he is now clean as a whistle and smelling like a new teacake again.
This is a picture of him with a crust of wholemeal bread on Saturday.

Oh Jak,I'm so sorry but I am laughing my head off, I can just see you and your hubby trying to do what you have to do and it's just NOT workin. But the after photo is just lovely, just as we like them......
Thanks for sharing him.

He is so beautiful. And as a childcare provider, I have had many a diaper like his nappie! I love reading your stories. Thanks for sharing.

Lovely story Jak, don't you just love em though - when they're clean and asleep! Hugs xx
Oh Jak I remember nappies like that. Once on the bus about 20 minutes from home lol. The joys of motherhood ( & Grandmahood).

i have actually got a photo of one of those poops hahahahahaha Craig couldnt resist when Katie was a baby, she used shoot them at me like exorcet missiles at me whilst lying on her changing mat lolol! Happy days ;-)
LOL this made me chuckle - reminded me of the first time that happened with my daughter. I just stood there frozen not knowing what to do holding her in the air!
He is such a cutie pie!

Such a wonderful picture of Jack...he seems to be growing at the speed of lightning Jak! So adorable and looks like a cheeky chappie. Bless him.

hahaha, i know those nappies only too well. we were struck with a bug a few weeks ago, i think we caught ours of my 2 year old granddaughter, 3 of those horrid leaking sqishy green nappies in 90 mins. cant wait for her to be nappy free, shouldnt be long we had a wee on the pot today.
your grandson is looking a handsome charmer. lol tracy xxx
He's absolutely gorgeous Jak :) And the nappy? Remember thiose well. But unbelievably we had one nappy change even worse, haha! Like you two we struggled & got all out g/daughter's clothes & us covered, as you do. Yes, we ran to give her a nice bath, only for her to continue in the once fragrant, clean warm water, lololol!
Watch out for that trick, hehehe.
They're soooo worth it tho, & your little Jack is looking really good.

PS - Have to be anon as it's the only way I can leave a comment :(
Here Downunder we refer to them as number 3's. Absolutely yucky aren't they. But we all survive them.
Ah Jak, welcome to my world. Our Owen loves nothing better than seeing us all run round when that happens. He is on solids now so its all hands to the pump when he is giving us gifts like that, lol

Jack looks so sweet & angelic here!
your post made me laugh so much. My daughter is 3 now but I remember well those 'change the whole outfit and dump in the bath' nappies, always when we were out, so lucky you did have the bath to hand, lol.
How could such a little angel make such a mess. LOL Jaqui x
