With Sympathy stamp set by Papertrey Ink is one of the newly released stamp sets and I have to say it has endless possibilities. I love the flourish and the sentiment.
I stamped the sentiment with versamark and heat embossed using silver pearl embossing powder. Using Encore silver ink I sponged around the dark purple (almost black) base card.
I used the large label Nestabilities dies one for the silver pearl card and the smaler one in white to wich I stamped the sentiment on top in plum pudding ink.
To finish I punched out 2 holes at the side of the card and entwined a plum pudding and a silver ribbon through the holes from the front of the card and crossed them over on the inside then back out through the holes again.

Beautiful, simply elegant against the dark background. Finished off to a tee!

Just right - it gives just the right message - I find it is always difficult to find the right words to say and what to use on a sympathy card.
This is beautiful Jak, the sentiment is perfect

Sympathy cards are very challenging for me but you make them so elegant and comforting. This is lovely.
Always a difficult subject to make a card for. But this is just beautiful. Love the colours.

Beautiful.I especially like the flourish stamp and the text is perfect. How nice to see some different colours being used for this sad occasion.
I like the flourish stamp as it makes the card so elegant. It is a very simple but very effective card. They are always one of the hardest cards to make. Kym xxx
