Just Inklined to Blog Hop–Pleats

Its that time again for the Just Inklined Blog hop and this month I am the host and I have chosen Pleats as the theme.

The blog hop start with me so you are at the right place, I know all of the girls have been working hard on their projects so remember to leave them all a comment for a chance to win a spot prize.

The image I used is called Poppy Cluster and it’s gorgeous, it is one of the new digital stamps and can be found here

blog hopPoppy Cluster1

So on to the pleats, I used a Martha Stewart border punch on some red card and scored lines on my ScorPal and carfully pleated and added it behind my image. I used Copic markers and Prisma pencils to colour the Poppy Cluster.

Poppy Cluster1

I used some prima resin poppies and a Cheery Lynn flourish die.

Poppy Cluster2

I also used some gorgeous pre-pleated ribbon from Ribbon Carousel behind the image.

Poppy Cluster3

Hope you like it and got a little inspiration, you now need to hop over to the wonderful Tammy’s blog as she is next on the hop and don’t forget to leave comments.

Beautiful image and card! Thanks for the blog hop. I am sick (cold? pollen/allergies?) and this will give me something to do when I am bored today...not well enough to work or do my house chores-but can't sleep, either...the computer and web have become my saving grace these past few days! Blessings, Sharon

The image is stunning & just love how you have added those pleats, very effective.

I have a leaflet in front of me now to contact 'The Royal British Legion'. I would like to make some cards & maybe ask my blogging friends for their help too if my request is accepted.

This would be a great way to raise funds for our Soldiers, don't you think?

I forgot to mention in my cow girl post 'Congratulations' on the birth of your niece. It's nice to hear because so far my end it's all Boys, Lol. Look forward to seeing some pics x
