I have to say this is one of the scariest projects I have done the digi image is by Mo Manning and is called Coexist and doesn't it just make you say "awe"?
Well I have been dying to give this one a go but I have a fur fear, no not really, just the thought of how to tackle colouring it sent me in a spin. I wasn't going to let it beat me so here is my result.
Teamed with 2 pretty papers a ribbon and a button to finish.

Attention to detail...
So I thought I would give the attention to detail to the fur.
I did colour with Promarkers but I just wasn't getting the effect that i was after so I remembered what Jim Harker (artist for La Pashe) told me.
He said "there is no law against mixing mediums" so that is exactly what I did, I used watercolour pencils on top of the Promarkers and I have to say that I am quite chuffed with the result

Jak, this is wonderful! I too have a fear of fur, thus why I've not tackled the "Out There" digi image from Mo's contribution to your fundraiser -- until yesterday, BUT I have so few "browns" in either Prisma or Copic that my dog is far from perfect -- I'll try him again maybe after the Holidays! On a good note, my sailor suit/shoes turned out quite nice!!! His hair & dog -- not so much!!! ;-}
What a great way to do fur ~ looks so realistic! I don't have many stamps where I could use this technique, but I'm thinking more positively about getting some after I saw your post.
Excellant job coloring. The fur and feathers look really good. I never thought to mix mediums so this was a great tip.
Jak,
You did a great job on the fur. Especially liked the dogs fur, matches the expression on his face perfectly.
Myrna
you have done a super job on this image. Nice to know that you can mix different mediums.

Great tip! I have a fear of fur and found I like it when I use chalk to color. Your card is amazing.
I would say that you have CONQUERED fur completely! Yours is by far the best coloring of this image that I have seen yet! Lovely!

I know exactly what you mean - I find it difficult to know where to begin (or stop sometimes!!) and hesitate to even try but I have to tell myself to feel the fear and do it anyway!! ;-)
