A couple of cards from the Launch shows for Hunkydory, Festive Windows of the Heart I think is the most beautiful set, I love good poetry cards and seemly so does the recipients, when I receive a card it is the first thing I look at.

The imagery on this set is also very beautiful some contemporary some traditional and some classic.

The above card started off as a concept card but I cut it up to make this one a little different.

The above card was made from one of the topper sheets and one of the background sheets.

Windows to the Heart Seasons Greetings

Back at Create and Craft TV with a four Day Deal for Hunkydory.

Windows to the Heart collection is one of the most wonderful verse full sets from Hunkydory that I know you are simply going to fall in love with.

I've been prepping for the demo's and come up with some different ideas of how to use the concept cards within the set and here is a sneak peek at one of them.

Its Started–Wedding Stationery

My youngest Daughter Natalie and her fiancé Adam are to be wed next year so there is lots of preparations to do.

We went and chose the most beautiful wedding dress but of course I can’t show you that yet, we also sat down and started to look at her wedding stationery, we have mocked up a few ideas and we now know what the invites will be like but in the mean time we needed some save the dates making and sending out.

I finished them last night and she collected them so now I need to start the invites.

And…. if you have been feeling a little tired lately and unsure what to do this maybe your answer, just look what our local garage did.

Pretty impressive yes?

He has added another design since I took this so watch this space.

Double bow tutorial. with over 107,000 views

When I first made this video tutorial of how to make a double bow using only my fingers I never thought that it would be so popular today it has had over 107,000 views and been shared countless times too.

Does that mean that my little video has gone viral?

Festive Birds of Britain

I truly think this is a gorgeous collect from Hunkydory, I think because it would be good for so many winter occasions.

Here is a few of my makes from the set.

Creating an aperture into a K type card.

The owl image is so warm, this card was made from the background sheet and one of the die cut tags.

A bit of vintage with the postcard sheet.

Hunkydory Festive Birds of Britain

I'll be back at 6pm today Sunday with this gorgeous set, brilliant for winter birthdays too. I would hate you to miss out on this set as it is simply beautiful.

This is a couple of the cards that I made on yesterday's shows.

This is one from the robin topper sheet, the gold center embellishment was made with hot glue and the diamond sparkle glitter.

This next card was made using a sheet from the Little Book of Festive Birds and the Book of foiled backgrounds.

As you can see this set has stunning artwork.

Winter Wonderland Hunkydory

One of the cards from Winter Wonderland Christmas Pack by Hunkydory.

I love this tree topper as it has a glow to it and is embellished with encapsulated diamond sparkles.

This collection contains an impressive 40 300gsm Adorable Scorable Topper Sheets and 80 coordinating 350gsm Foiled and Printed Cardstock Sheets, as well as some that have been enhanced with encapsulated Diamond Sparkles Glitter. Festive Splendour Hunkydory

I’m all for using up all of my bits and pieces when buying a kit and this seamed the perfect way, after using a couple of the toppers to make cards I can find that I have spares on the sheet and occasionally a background card too.

Festive Splendour from Hunkydory has so many pretty background sheets that I thought it would make a perfect designer gift box to accompany the card I had made.

I also used some Adorable Scorable for the box base in a contrasting colour.

Now pop in a few home made sweets or maybe cookies and you have the perfect Christmas treat in a beautiful gift box.

Christmas with Hunkydory

Stoke up the fire, light the candles close the curtains and snuggle down for the Christmas Craftintaor launching tonight on Create and Craft at 7pm.

Shimmering Pearl

It’s fast approaching my Mams Birthday and being a garden lover and a bird feeder I thought it would have to be something featuring this, Shimmering Pearl from Hunkydory was the perfect choice, it is now available at Hunkydory to purchase and it would be rude not to pop in your basket some of the Adorable Scorable and foiled acetate while you are there ha ha!

The center panel has foiled acetate domed over the the birdcage and ribbon to add a bit of extra design, I used two of the sumptuous backgrounds for the card cutting panels from each and a sheet of the die cut elements.

The little birds are just gorgeous with their gold accents.

Using one of the inserts for the inside and a few diamond sparkle gems on the front my card was complete.

Cold Porcelain Flowers

What a fabulous start to the bank holiday weekend, a day making cold porcelain flowers at

Craft-e-Liza

Here is what I made today. Snowdrops and Crocus.

They even survived a 140 mile trip home.

I have been promising myself a try at this and when the chance came along I grasped it with both hands.

Meryl makes you very welcome and I spent the day with fabulous company our Ruth from Hunkydory having a good old chin wag and giggle.

If like Ruth and myself you used to do sugar craft then this relaxing craft will be right up your street.

Fun in the Sun - Hunkydory

These are a few makes from my Fun in the Sun luxury decoupage bundle shows by Hunkydory on Create and Craft today.

Cut kittens decoupage matted and layered on adorable scorable card and an acetate wrap to protect the decoupage.

This one was made from the Second Little Book of Decoupage, such a tranquil image, teamed with adorable scorable.

A fabulous biking scene from the decoupage main set of Fun in the Sun.

 

One for the sporty man, love the coloured in this one made on one of the fancy fold cards (easel) and one of the images from the Second Little book of Decoupage.

Another fancy fold card this one being a triple easel card And some of the Decoupage main bundle Fun in the Sun.

Hunkydorys acetate is a dream to work with, it does what you want it to do, in this one it is embossed with an embossing folder and made into the front of the card and the back of the card is one of the Adorable Scorable cards cut down to an A5 size.
