Free Image Card

It started buy buying some crafty bits, you know how it is right?

I bought a pack of buttons, pretty metal ones and soon realised that the packaging was just too darn pretty to throw away.

I carefully removed the buttons then got to work adapting the packaging into a card.

Really it was like one of those buy 1 and get 1 free moments.

The patterned card and the images all came from the button box. Santoro Mirabelle from Riverside Crafts in Market Deeping.

I did use one of the buttons entwined into a silk ribbon.

Also a Fantastic Ribbons ribbon and a Mei Flower ribbon slide and pearls.

Blog Hop day tomorrow, be sure to hop back here.

Designing for Jack–T-Shirts

Hard to believe but Jack will be 5 next month and I thought it would be pretty awesome if he had his own designer wear.

I designed some T-Shirt slogans for him cut them out in Vinyl on the Silhouette Portrait and then heat pressed them onto the shirts.

This one is Oh so true.

A Card and a Confession.

Grandson Jack came over today and I had started to make a card last night and did a little decoupage but hadn’t done much else. So Jack helped me today to finish the card off. I got out some dies and put Jack in control of the eBosser machine which he found amazing, He put the plates and dies in the front and then ran around to the back to watch them come out, isn’t technology marvellous? we then measured cut and stuck all of the components together and made a smashing card. Decoupage is from the Hunkydory decoupage book Sports and Leisure

We used Memory Box dies a trellis and a vine flourish.

and this pretty decoupage from the book.

All of the card is from Create and Craft TV here

So onto my confession…… My healthy eating went down the pan, I started having treats and cheating, secret eating in abundance. work patterns, being away from home and having to eat from service stations too many tempting foods.

So there it is in a nutshell, My name is Jak Heath and I am a secret eater.

Now that is the first step, I confessed to the world, the next step is to put it right and I have started to do that already, 2 bike rides this weekend and healthy eating, the tester will be when I have to go to Peterborough but I’m determined to get back on track.

Quality time.

My wonderful man came with me to Peterborough this time round, we even brought our bikes, of course I was here to work so today was the first chance I got to get out.

We headed over to Ferry Meadows and I have to say this is oh so beautiful.

I loved that we got out in the fresh air and some time to relax

These are my snazzy over the top sunglasses for when I am out on the bike, they pop right over the top of my everyday glasses.

Everything is Better when we're together.

Truly it is. It's so important to take time out together.

Our day had just began but we wanted to show you this wonderful place.

Once I had done my shows at Create and Craft we decided to go out to dinner and Dean Wilson (presenter) pointed us in the right direction to a wonderful evening.

A quaint little pub in a quaint little village.

We are both quite tall and we were conscious of the low beams.

The bar was full of delightful temptations.

And dinner was just scrumptious.

Oh yes I even had a sneaky half of San Miguel

The a little stroll around the village to stretch out the dinner tummy.

More to show

More to show you from yesterday's makes at Create and Craft.

A pretty little box using the Gingham and the Basal card stock.

A lazy day card or maybe a Sunday afternoon. Image by Hunkydory.

And a bit of scrap booking.

And a bit more.

Mam's 80th a Special Day

It was so good to get all of the family together for dinner.

Mam had a lovely afternoon and here is the picture to prove it,

Now the bag that she is holding is a vinyl print and the image I designed from a photograph of my Mam in her younger days, it was perfect to hold some craft goodies that I popped in for her.

Thanks to Inkspot photography for making the bag for me. They do them in all different colours.

Now you may of noticed the other thing that Mam is holding, there is a little story to that, whilst looking for a vase to put a bouquet of flowers in that was from her late Brothers wife she found this hand made little Calander which was made by her late friend Evelyn, what is even more interesting is that the little Calander that is attached was dated 1953 which was the year my Mam and Dad was married.

I know it was all most likely to be coincidental but it did make my Mam feel like everyone was with her for her special day.

Back at Create and Craft to Launch Pick of the Week

I'm back at Create and Craft today (Friday) and tomorrow to launch the Spellbinders Pick of the Week, around 100 products no less so you really don't want to miss these shows.

My shows today are 12:00, 15:00 and then a 2 hour show at 17:00

Tomorrow's shows are 08:00, 13:00 and 17:00

I have my feet up to stop my ankles flaring up with pains again.

They are better than they were.

Before I go to get ready for the shows I wanted to show you the soldier statue which is in my village on loan, it is so gorgeous that the village is trying to raise the funds to buy it.
