Silver Fairy

Such a sweet thing this one. Silver Fairy,  I used Copics and Prisma pencils to colour her and used the overhang technique using the spellbinders label four die, I have a tutorial here The corner punch is an EK success punch. and both scrumptious ribbons are from Ribbon Carousel

I just love heather colours don’t you? there is just something about them. The Silver Fairy digi is from Wee Stamps and i tried to keep her in pastel tones as I had lots of colour with the Stampin Up paper and ribbon

Sweet Blossom

I stumbled upon a new company for me, such pretty faces on these one that I thought I’d give them a whirl, this is the first one I loved and it’s the one I used for todays card, it’s called Sweet Blossom and is available here.

I love the way that this on is sitting on the arced blossom branch. Sweet_Blossom1

Coloured with copic markers and using the Spellbinders oval nestabilities I created a cut out to sit her inside

The one I Restored

I told you earlier about the photo’s that I restored this is the one that was badly damaged in the bombing, I had to build up the right side of his face again, I’m so happy that I did this as this is my  Grand Father in his teen years and is the only photograph we have of him in the teens.

Family Tree

Do you do this, trace your Family Tree? I used to but as my Fathers home was bombed during the war many of the history was lost, they did however have one or two pictures which were salvaged and I had to digitally restore them. I have one of my Dads Father which took an age to repair but I was quite pleased with the outcome, I’ll make a scrapbook page soon with that one.

The one below was took a good few years after the was but I love it none the less. The Ganny was a betting lady, loved a flutter on the horses and my dad had the job of placing the bets for her.

My Grandma, Auntie Alice the Ganny (Dads Grand Mother) and Auntie Alice’s Twin Boys Alan and Warren,
