Goth Girl - Mo Manning

Its all new and very exciting a new challenge Blog with a team of Girls that make some amazing cards,
Not only the cards to view it is also a challenge with prizes to be won.
Head over there now by clicking the image below

A great teenager Goth Girl image from Mo Manning, coloured with Promarkers.

The cream base card was embossed with one of the Cuttlebug wrought Iron folders then sponged with purple ink.

Attention to Detail...

The purple card was embossed using the Cuttlebug Textile Texture A2 folder, I used the Stampin Up Spiral Punch to make it look as if it was torn from a note book, I wove the purple sheer ribbon through some of the slots.

Copics, Promarkers and a Digi Stamp

This is a digi stamp from Mo's Digital Pencil called Fishing, coloured with both promarkers and Copic Markers then mounted with Nestabilities Ovals.
Olive base card and Stampin Up papers the sentiment was punched out using the word window slot punch by Stampin Up.

Attention to Detail...

Lets talk fishing hooks, I needed an embellishment without it being over the top so I set to with head pins, beads and a feather, I added one bugle bead then a dab of glue to the head pin, next added the seed bead onto the pine and slotted a piece of the feather under the seed bead so that the glue and seed bead would hold it in place, I then bent the head pin around my finger and snipped off the excess wire with wire cutter.

You couldn't go fishing with them but I think you'll agree they make a pretty neat embellishment.

Psst Dani and Taylor

I think by now most of you will know that I love monotones, so I set to Designing with this image from Mo Manning at Digital Pencil, I coloured the image using the Promarkers Ice Greys 1-5.
The swirly diecut is a Bigz Die - Decorative Accent w/Flower , the flower itself I explain further down the posting how to make it.
I finished with a couple of ribbons, one sheer white and a black gingham on top.

Attention to Detail...

A close up view as I wanted to show you the shadow under the girls boots.

The flower was made using punched card circles, distressing the edges then scrunching them up, next unfold them and add a brad to the centre.

Both Jim Harker (artist for la Pashe) and myselfwent out researching on Thursday and below is a few shots which tickled me.
The one below I just thought it was qaint with the round leaded window and lots of candles for the dark evenings.

Now this little baby is what I call an iron and us girls think we have it bad now!

Can you imagine having to spin the yarn before making the woolies for a hard winter?
