Thomas Kinkade - Cobblestone Bridge

Two new Rubberstamps today and this one is Thomas Kinkade Cobblestone Bridge by CHF I used the brayer on the stamp with Palette Berry Sorbet ink pad I find I get a much crisper image by using the brayer I used a cream base card and layered up with papermanis silk screen pattened paper it has a beautiful sheen to one side and a matching pinstripe on the other, I layered a contrasting green cardstock to fram the image ontop of this then tied a polka dot satin ribbon around this before attaching to the base card then added the image with foam pads to give it some depth.

New Baby Card - Birds of a Feather

My Neice gave birth to a beautiful baby boy (Layton John) on Tuesday 8th July
So after my TV appearence on Create & Craft I new I would be straight back to reality and making a card the minute I got home.
What was good for me was I won the Birds of a feather stamp set from Papertrey Ink and it was sitting on my doormat waiting for me as I opened the door what perfect timing.
On cream card stock I stamped the little bird, eggs and nest and the New Beginnings sentiment. I cut out a blue scalloped square with the nestibilities and used the matching plain square to cut out the stamped image.
I stamped the words Just hatched several times down the right hand side of the base card, layered Bless this Baby onto matching blue card then tied it all together with a contrasting ribbon and added 3 blue pearls in the left corner.

Sunday Lilacs

I used a plain white DL tent fold card and cut a fancy edge on some pale lavender card stock using the Rotatrim edgemaster to this I added some handmade paper torn along the edge and tied a thin white ribbon around it.
I stamped the white card using SU Blossoms Abound, inks used were Perfect Plum and Pale Plum by SU and Spring Moss by Papertrey Ink.
I stamped extra leaves, words and a Lilac and cut these out then added them using foam pads to give some dimension to the card, tied a ribbon bow to the wording and stuck it on top.
I finished with a little sparkle with some stickles.
