Everything But The kitchen Shelf - Mothers Day Card

As soon as I saw this Stamp I knew it would make the perfect Mothering Sunday Card, it have a bit of nostalgia included in the image and I can tell you it reminds me of baking as far as the eye could see on a Sunday morning when I was a little girl.
My Mam used to bake in batches for the week we had bread dough raising in every warm spot in the house ooo and the cakes were out of this world.

One of the cakes that was my favourite was one we called jelly jubilees, it was a vanilla cupcake baked then dipped in a raspberry jelly mix before it set and then rolled in coconut strands, once the jelly had set on the cake it was cut in half and a great big dollop of whipped fresh cream added to the center, I can promise you they didn't last long ha ha.

coloured with Copic markers, Stampin Up designer papers, lace, buttons, roses and twine and a little bit of love to bring it all together.

Oh, this card is so sweet! Those jelly jubilee cakes sound heavenly - I don't suppose that was a recipe your mam passed down?

LOVELY! I have this stamp and I wanted to use it in the background for a cooking image but it's so hard to marry a digital with a rubba. I hadn't thought of using it on it's own but it really makes a statement! Lovely wood! Warmest wishes, Lesley

The colours you chose are so perfect for the image! The background paper looks like wallpaper, I love it!

My mum once baked some bread and my dad said we could use it to prop the rabbit hutch up with at one side!!! Mothers Pride to the rescue LOL!!!

Very nostalgic card Jak... I think that little bit of love you speak of bringing it together is, infact a whole bucketload of talent!!!
