Slimming Update

Weigh in night last night and I'm the proud owner of....

Drum Roll please


3Lb weight loss this week
My next 2 weeks are going to be really tough, I have 6 nights away from home with hotel eating, Create and Craft and a trade show, so my next weigh in at Slimming World will be 25th February and I'll eat my hat if I don't gain those 3 Lbs back.
Why is it that some hotels don't give a healthy option meal (sigh)?

Well done Jak, i am proud of you.
don't kick yourself if you do put a bit of weight back on when at the hotel just get right on track when you get back home.

Well done. Off to get weighed at 12 so fingers crossed. Not been a good week so i'll be happy if i've stayed the same.

Well done Jak, I don't think you should worry about the next 6 days and we have to learn to live with our diet (Healthy eating) so just try to pick the best options offered to you and you will be surprised at how well you can do, I bet you will be doing more, physically too so that should help...
Sorry to say I'm still struggling, I keep having hypo's and have to eat which belies all my good intentions!!

i lost 2 lbs and was in a hotel for one night. avoided the hot buffet breakfast and stuck to cerial and fruit but you're right the restaurants sabotage even the most dedicated slimmer!

3 pounds is WONDERFUL!! I sure hope we'll see some hat-eating on your return! Maybe all the exercise you'll get running around at the show will help balance it out. My tip is to take a stash of your own snacks, like WW bars, etc. that won't do too much damage. If you are not STARVING when you get into the restaurant it will be much easier to make good menu choices. And feel free to ask for lower calorie preparation methods - no oily marinade on the chicken, dressing and sauces on the side. Good luck!!

Jak, just eat off of the appetizer menu, with a sald! Just a wee bit of flavor with your sald- stay away from the carbs like fries! OTOH, I highly reccomend a bit of wine or cider when you are dieting, it makes ou feel good at the end of a hard day or week- good luck! Oh, love Jack's tubbie, lol!!

Well done, don't worry too much I think slimming world is probably one of the easier nes to follow when eating away from home i am sure you will be fne xx
