Well Contrary to belief I'm not attracting metal objects, so far so good as in nothing has stuck to me.
The MRI scan is now complete, not the worst thing I've had done but also not the nicest. I was in around 45 minutes not the 30 that the letter said. I had big problems lying down on my back but the nice nurse stuffed some wedges under my knees to relieve the pressure on my back.
I was also given some funky earplugs to wear, I couldn't keep them in but I needn't of worried because they sandwiched my head with foam pads to stop it moving.
So in the machine I went, it was quite a snug fit and that was ok as I'm not claustrophobic. I was very pleased of the padding when the machine started jeeps it is so noisey.
There was no fear of snoring thankfully and the nice nurse would let me know each time it was going to start through a speaker that was with in the machine.
Half way through things started to hurt, laying rigid just wasn't easy when you are in pain and need to ease it. Then things started to spasm and get very unbearable and just when I thought I was going to have to scream at them to stop instead of the pitiful whimpering that I was doing, the nice nurse told me it was all done "yay".
So they eased me back into the open room and that's when I realised that I couldn't get up, what a wus, my back had seized, eventually after a bit of coaxing and a few yelps I got onto my feet.
So that's it all done thank goodness, I hope I get the results soon.
Just thought you would like the update.
