Glad it's over.

Well Contrary to belief I'm not attracting metal objects, so far so good as in nothing has stuck to me.

The MRI scan is now complete, not the worst thing I've had done but also not the nicest. I was in around 45 minutes not the 30 that the letter said. I had big problems lying down on my back but the nice nurse stuffed some wedges under my knees to relieve the pressure on my back.

I was also given some funky earplugs to wear, I couldn't keep them in but I needn't of worried because they sandwiched my head with foam pads to stop it moving.

So in the machine I went, it was quite a snug fit and that was ok as I'm not claustrophobic. I was very pleased of the padding when the machine started jeeps it is so noisey.

There was no fear of snoring thankfully and the nice nurse would let me know each time it was going to start through a speaker that was with in the machine.

Half way through things started to hurt, laying rigid just wasn't easy when you are in pain and need to ease it. Then things started to spasm and get very unbearable and just when I thought I was going to have to scream at them to stop instead of the pitiful whimpering that I was doing, the nice nurse told me it was all done "yay".

So they eased me back into the open room and that's when I realised that I couldn't get up, what a wus, my back had seized, eventually after a bit of coaxing and a few yelps I got onto my feet.

So that's it all done thank goodness, I hope I get the results soon.

Just thought you would like the update.

MRI scan

I have my MRI scan today, apparently you have to make sure that all jewellery is removed, no metal zippers allowed because it is a magnetic scan, so I started to ponder about the glitter in my nail varnish, I had visions of my being stuck inside the scanner hanging in there by my fingernails.

So all that said, I’m going bare, no nail varnish and apparently no make- up, even mascara is banned, no underwired bra eeeek, I’m hoping that I have no glitter from card making attached anywhere on my body.

If you don’t here from me by 8pm tonight please send out the cavalry to come and free me.

I do have one more concern, the scan lasts 30 minutes during which time you are lay horizontal, due to my lack of good nights sleep it may be that I fall asleep during this, I guess laying on my back I could end up snoring like a gissy pig…. oh the shame of it. Chris is coming along for moral support and I can see him retiring to the car in shame.

Franks Girl!

So remember the Monster Mash song, I think this one ticks all of the boxes. I love the twist it has for Halloween, in the UK Halloween is definitely taking off, I think it’s about time too, the children just love it don’t they? I must admit even the adults have their Halloween parties now.

If I were a skinny mini I would do it in style just like Frank’s Girl by Mo’s Digital Pencil

I used the 1.5 orange net ribbon with a 5/8" Solid/Dot Edge (Wired) on top from Ribbon Carousel as the perfect embellishment for the card.

Letraset Limited Edition Promarkers Winter 2012

They're here...... I love that this set hasn't got the traditional colours and instead has all the frosted appeal of a white Christmas, it makes a refreshing change.

I had to play with them just to see if I could make a frosty morning sky and they didn't disappoint me.

I will play more later but wanted to show you all just how wonderful they are.
