Wedding Card - Clean and Simple

Well my family do nothing by halves. My eldest Daughter Lauren sprang it upon us that she will be getting Wed in 10 Weeks time. June the 11th to be exact eeek!

So as this has just been decided it doesn't leave a great deal of planning time for prep and organisation.

Wedding Cards need to be made and sent in mega quick time and we were for our sins going to buy them, I sat tonight with a couple of the Tonic Studios Geared punches (Bride and Groom) and thought "surely I can come up with something elegant yet clean and simple and I'm hoping that this will fit the bill.

I need your comments on this. Does it work?

The card is Antique Gold and Cream the cream is showing up a little white toned but it is cream

Just Inklined to Blog Hop - Bring in the Spring

Just inklined blog hop The theme this month is Bring in the Spring which was chosen by Jeni and that is where the Blog Hop starts.

I wanted to keep my project clean and bright, purely because to me spring is the start of new beginnings when we start to see new shoots coming from the plants.

I choose the Crocus Jug for my image and you can buy it here.

Coloured with Copic markers, Cuttlebug Birds and Swirls embossing folder used on the white background, ribbon and pearls to finish.

Next up is the fabulous Debbie and I just know she has something jaw droppingly good to show you.

Safmat Card

Now I don't want you all to panic, I know, know it's a Christmas Card. But I designed the snowflake backing and loved it, I also printed it onto the Safmat along with the sentiment and I have to say that I love this stuff, it gives such a professional finish to card making and even gives a glaze to your work.

I added some iridescent pearls to the centers of the snowflake, made a bauble from the sentiment and added a ribbon and tradaaa my card was done.

Here's Looking at you Kid!

You may remember me asking for Captions for the photo of Jack with his hat on, well there was a reason for this as you will see from the image below, I decided it was high time I did a scrapbook page to add to the album, I used a product called Safmat by Letraset for all of the wording, you simply type what you want on the computer ie word or editing program then you print it out onto the Safmat and then cut it out, remove the backing paper and you have created your own rub on, brilliant
The possibilities of Safmat are endless, from scrap booking to card making.

Below is an image of the new packaging for Safmat click on the image to buy it, it's amazing stuff.

Tomorrow I will show you a card I made using the left over piece on the Safmat sheet.

Rico Design - Can Can Scarf

So no card today but hey just look at my fabulous Scarf, I have started another one too, in burnt orange shades, If you want to know how easy they are to make hop over to Lorraine's blog as she has a tutorial on there.

Pictures from the Pins and Needles show

As I told you earlier we are at the Metro Arena with the Pins and needles Craft Show and there is so much to see there, not only paper crafts but all different types of crafts that is sure to inspire you.

Now I'm back there on Saturday but don't worry if you need a demo tomorrow I've been training up the guys to stand in for me, below is a picture of Craig showing his stuff to the passing ladies ha ha!

Ooh I love this display that I found whilst browsing.

This was another clever sew'n'sew that I found at the show.

I met a very talented lady named Joan Cutts, her work is amazing, I haven't a website for her but if you want something very special her prices are very reasonable, you can contact Joan at joancutts@aol.com

Now how about finishing off the experience with a bit of indulgence
