I give up!

All night I tell you, all night I have been trying to get something right to show you tomorrow.

I started after my tea and I've just got it finished, I'm thinking at the moment I should lay down my craft tools and not pick them back up until after Christmas.

I have been crafting most of the day at work but that is on things that I can't show as yet and yes, I know, I am privileged to have a job that is also my hobby but it also means that it is a 24/7 kind of craft and I feel mentally burnt out.

So if the photography takes as long as the project I have just finished it may well be after Christmas before you see it.

If I'm not back here by morning can someone come and rescue me????

Autumn Leaves

Just a quick card today as I have been working on theme project which has now got me scratching my head on how I'm going to build what I need next.
A simple card using punched out leaves and inked up to add the colour I wanted, I used the sizzix fall embossing folder on the cream card, added a few berries and a pretty ribbon and a bit of love to bring it all together.
You can see from below that the leaves started their life yellow in colour, I used dye inks and blended them onto the leave to get the colour tones I wanted.

Grans little Helper - Jack 24th October

We looked after Jack today while his Mum was at a meeting and he turned into my little helper.
  1. He helped to eat the chocolate cake so that Gran wouldn't get fatter.
  2. He helpedwith his spoon to smoother his dinner all over his face.
  3. He helped make the dinner by playing stack them high with the tea caddy and anything else he could find.
  4. He helped to brush his Grans hair with the sweeping brush.
and this was his last bit of helping...
