Friend to Friend

A chocolate card base and pretty paper and some cream card embossed using the Victoria A2 Cuttlebug folder.

Attention to detail...

A fancy paper fold with a double sided paper, a diagonal concertina fold.

The flower was a mishap, I cut off the stem and the centre bud dropped out so I used a bead and a gold finding to replace it.

Paper- Bella Bleu (Stampin Up), Card - Papermill Shop

Embossing - Victoria A2 Folder (Cuttlebug), Stamp - Stampin Up

Christmas Reindeer

This card was made for work, well sort of, I was trying to explain the uses of Versamark ink to a work collegue, explaining that you can use it as a watermark or use embossing powder with it and said I was do a couple of samples, so I did the samples of each then got carried away in making this one into a card.
After cutting the layers of patterned paper I distressed the edges with a red distress ink and a sponge.

Attention to detail...

The ribbon is a two toned ribbon in red and green from a local Craft shop.

You can see on the image below how I picked out the dotted swirl from the patterned paper and used stickles glitter glue to make it pop, you can aslo see the green nailhead at the edge of the punched out point.

Stamp - Papermania

Patterned Paper- Graphic 45

Border Punch -Martha Stewart

embelishments - Stickles Glitter glue and nail head gems from my stash

Card - Papermill shop

Ink - Ranger Distress Ink Red Brick

I can't believe there are so many to choose from. The nostalgia ones are great but then I was torn between the Owls and Fashion Victim. SO I'm going for one of the ones you've shown - Hand Wash Only - so appropriate. Thanks for letting us know about these wonderful products. Kim x

Anne Marie

It just looks so like my SIL's collie. would make a great gift for her if I was to win it. Not fliipin likely though - lol!! Love the wrapping idea too Jak!!

Hi Jak,Your log is a smashing idea- it looks so good. I had a lovely time going through the tea towels and to my surprise I found out it's only approx 15 miles from where I live- small world and all that!! Hard to choose a favourite, probably the form-ewe-la-one which I would give to my daughter-in-law as she's besotted with it, or the gorgeous Rennie MacIntosh design for myself!Hugs,Trish

Louise
What a fab idea for a christmas pressie, had a look and there are many favourites!! If I had to choose one though it would be the penguins on ice drinking tea, how cute! Thanks for showing us them, Louise x

Christmas Robins

I can't claim fame for this fun card, it was a make and take from Joanne at Mainly Flowers, all of the components and instructions were added into a Stampin Up order from her to make up.

You can see from this photo that the Robin was made with a circle punch the redbreast is another punched circle punched again to remove part of the circle, the wing and beak is the petal of a pointed flower and a google eye to finish. Legs are hand drawn.
