My Craft Space

Who lives in a house like this...
Though the door, as you can see it is aptly named ( the box room)
Small but never the less beautiful in my eyes.

This unit sits along ade my desk, it has 2 draws in the top compartment.
The red canisters on the top are tea caddy's but are perfect for pens.

I don't suppose you'll be surprised to see what is in the top draw.

and in the bottom draw...

These shelves are fit directly above my desk.

I love this rail that is fitted above my desk it is a kitchen rail from Ikea and it should have pans hanging off the hooks but I find it perfect for scissors and the likes which keeps my work surface free from clutter.

I've found a home for some of my wood mounted stamps. I still need a few more of these red baskets to make best use of the shelves

This is the top of the unit as you can see my lovely husband has still to move some of his tools (sigh)

This is the bottom of the unit.

As you can see from this image some of my shelves have still to be filled which will not be a problem once I get everything down from the loft. You may also have noticed the step ladder hiding round the corner, I need this to reach some of the shelves.

I hope you enjoyed the little tour

Thomas Kinkade - Make a Wish Cottage

I used a brayer, Archival Ink & smooth white card stock to stamp up the Thomas Kinkade - Make a wish Cottage rubber stamp bought at Cornish Heritage Farms I then broke out my Prisma pencils to add colour to the image, I stared with the greens adding various shades and blended with gamsol and a paper stump and then added the colour to the rest again blending with the paper stump.
I used HOTP paper as a background on top of a deep red card stock then layered the image and the Papertrey Ink sentiments in the same red and some cream card, added them to the base card and finished this a vintage cream ribbon.

Floral Punch Craft - Dahlia

A clever little diamond fold card http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hkDfbyHXKvY
papers from PTI, added the FPC flower and leaves to finish off the card
The Floral Punch Craft flower took best part of an evening to construct working with 48 small tear drop punched out shapes and 6 small hearts cut in half then adding them to daisy and snowflake shapes,so, even though I love the result it could be a long, long time before I make another.
