Flower Girl - Mo Manning

Happy Sunday Everyone, I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend. The sun is splitting the trees here where I am so I'm off to make the most of it.

Before I do I wanted to share a new card with you.

Little Flower Girl, coloured with Copic Markers and made into an Easel card, the cuttlebug was used to emboss the pink card and edged using a Martha Stewar deep edger punch, the duck egg under paper was from my stash, I think it was from Papermania, some pearls a ribbon some flower petals and a bit of love to bring it all together.

A close up shot of the little Flower Girl by Mo Manning, such a little sweetie.

The Nestabilities Labels make a perfect writing place on the inside of the easel card.

Brilliant Day

We set off quite early this morning 7:30 am and made our way to Harrogate Papercraft Extravaganza and on arrival we were greeted by the exhibition Cow "Daisy".
The day was manic busy with lots of crafters armed with shoppers all awaiting to fill them up at whatever caught their eye.
I was doing demo's with the Build a Blossom and I did so many I have a blister.
I love it when someone watches me transform the flat sheet into a thing of natural beauty before their eyes and the disbelief at how easy they are to make until they see for themselves.
A very satisfying feeling indeed.
We had a marvelous day and after a good nights sleep I should be ready for round 2 tomorrow.

The display stand are really for Cupcakes and i saw them on facebook purchased by Nicola Joliffe one of my crafty friends and thought they would be perfect for the Build a Blossom flowers to showcase them.

I think they look like they should be in a flower boutique.

I must add that not 1 cup of tea came my way today from crafty friends (how rude) lol!

.....................................

Tomorrow Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th March I will be at Harrogate GNPE (Papercraft Extravaganza)
If you are visiting be sure to pop by the La Pashe stand and say hi, I'd love to see you there, I'll be doing demo's of the Build a Blossom showing just how easy they are to make.
Oh yes and come with a cup of tea I always get parched from chatting too much (just a little bit of milk and no sugar)

Ohhh No! Baby Jack talks like a Geordie

uh oh! Baby Jack talks like a Geordie if you listen carefully to his words you'll see what I mean.

Flowers in my Garden - A Day for Daisies

As soon as I saw this stamp I just fell in love with it, it is from a new to me company (A Day for Daisies) which I found in one of the groups I'm in, this one is so dreamy, it's called Flowers in my Garden, isn't she beautiful?
There is something quite surreal about her.
I used the Cuttlebug Stylised flowers folder to emboss the card and the border punch is by Martha Stewart (deep edger) I used the square Nestabilities to mount the image onto and copic markers to colour her.
Teamed with ribbon, pearls and a flower and a bit of love to bring it all together.

Man of the Month

I decided I would award a Man of the Month, not something I do lightly but this man totally deserves this award.
To win this award a man needs to be one of a kind, hardworking, reliable, good sense of humour, thoughtful and considerate.
So without further ado I give you...
Neil Rutherford.

This is my choice for Man of the month, why? well he went beyond the call of duty and worked late most nights to get my bathroom fitted for me, he is hard working and wouldn't even stop for lunch, although he did get through 2 jars of coffee.

He single handed fitted me a beautiful bathroom and even when he had to take out the loo he put it back before he left to ensure we had it for the nights. He is a perfectionist and made sure that every part of the bathroom was fitted to the highest of standards, he is witty and he doesn't leave a mess he cleaned up each night.

Thank you Neil we are thrilled with the work you did for us.

Oh yes he also is a good sport and didn't mind me blogging his builders bum.

Anyone on the look out for a brilliant Bathroom fitter Neil is your man, he is hard working reliable and a perfectionist, I really can't recommend him highly enough.

You can contact him here nrplumbing@aol.com

2 in 1 Royal Fleur and Fairy 2

I decided to give one of my new punches a whirl and what better way to showcase it than to use one of the images from Digital Pencil Too Fairy 2, I love the fact that this image is voluptuous and not a double Zero skinny mini.
Coloured with Copic markers and I choose my favourite shades of aqua colours and used the 2 in 1 Royal Fleur on corners and edging then teamed it all with a vintage seem binding ribbon and gave it a bit of a curled appearance.
Fairy 2 can be purchased here

I just know you are all going to ask what I used for the edging, well, it is a little edger Punch by Tonic Studios called 2 in 1 - Royal Fleur it does both edges and corners for the silly price of £5.99 cheap as chips.

..............................................................................

I'm hoping to get some bathroom shots later to show you, it's all coming together nicely.

Build a Blossom Winner and an Uh Oh

First my Uh Oh.... Grandson Jack learnt how to climb out of his cot today and in the process fell and managed to but his teeth clean through his bottom lip his poor Mam is beating herself up over it as he needed a trip to the medics and has had it glued together again, luckily his teeth came out just below his bottom lip otherwise it would have been a trip to hospital and not the walk in center.

So tonight his cot has been made into a bed and he is finding it very dificult to stay in it, I expect they are in for a restless night tonight.
