Treasure Giveaway Winner
I have a couple of things to tell you about and the first is the winner of my card and some of my treasure
The winner is…
Big congratulations sweetie, send me your address and I’ll pop your prize in the post.
…………..
Now for my 2nd thing that I want to tell you about.
There is a special lady who deals with pain every day, I don’t mean a niggling pain I mean the sort of pain that knocks you off your feet and lands you in bed, Karen has been struggling along waiting for a referral and just can’t take it any more and needs to go private, she is raising funds to do this and you can read her story here I bet most of you know her from the Crafters Companion forum.
She is very talented and is doing this by selling her design kits so pop by and take a look.
Ribbon Storage
My name is Jak Heath and I am a Ribbonholic
So much so that I had to buy five new shelves at Ikea, just to house some of my ribbon reels, the shelves are picture shelves and have a little lip at the front which is perfect for stopping the reels from rolling off, they cost £8.29 and as you can see in the pictures below they are also perfect for housing Martha Stewart and EK Success border punches.
I still have loads of ribbon in boxes and I intend trying to get some empty plastic ribbon reels to get them out of the boxes and onto my shelves.
I think I could set up shop lol!
I could do with a few more blue and a few more black methinks. Honest I need them all.
If any ribbon shops have some spare empty ribbon reels that need a good home please contact me.

To be “Frank”
Be afraid…. be very afraid.
I remember watching Frankenstein on TV when I was young with a cushion over my face and my eyes like saucers peeping over the top.
Thankfully this one is kind of cute.
Frank by Just Inklined is coloured with Promarkers by Letraset
Background papers are from Shery K Designs
Some snazzy ribbon and some puffed letter stickers, and a Drippy Goo paper punch by Martha Stewart all add to the effect.

Groovy Chic
I happened upon some digi stamps to raise some funds for a very worthy cause at Fundraising for Lyndall there are some wonderful digi’s and also prizes to be won but please remember to read Lyndall’s story written by her good friend here, They say that 1 in 3 of us will get Cancer and that everyone of us will know or have lost someone with this terrible illness, I know it has touched two of my family members and a very good friend of mine too.
Here is just one of the digi stamps that you could purchase to help.

I kept this Clean and Simple to accent the image. Please try to help if you can.

Thank You
It has been quite a while since I got inky so I thought I would set to work and get down and dirty with a little bit of distressing and some lovely new papers.
I happened upon a lovely site for backing papers called My Grafico and the papers used in this card where downloaded from there. I also used a Rubber Stamp from Stampin Up (lovely as a tree) for the pine tree.
Attention to detail came from one of my treasures the watch face from here some ribbon and a few buttons from Fantastic Ribbons (love their stuff)
Please note, if you need a question answered the only way of doing this would be to email me on the address on my side bar or leave an email address in the comment box along with your question.
The link to buy the clock face was in my previous post to this one I have now added the link in this post too.
