A new Tea Cosy for my teapot. Both Chris and I love a full bodied cup of builders tea so we like to brew it the old fashioned way in a teapot.
I got out the crochet hook and set to, it fits nice and snug.
Anyone fancy a cuppa?

I never see that many Easter decorations around unless it is an Easter Bonnet or an Easter Tree so I jumped at the chance to make a wreath and a cute one at that.
All cut using my Silhouette Portrait, love this machine. I love the Designer software too, I can play (yes play) for hours with it.
This template is available in the Silhouette store and is another by Jamie Moore Cripps, you really must look up her designs.
Now fill up those little eggs with a little chocolate surprise and it would make a brilliant adult Easter Gift don’t you think?
Another little Potted plant to cheer up a cold day.
I’ll have mine with clotted cream thank you.
These a so fun to make, even the terracotta pot is made from card.
A closer look at the plant.
As you can see I dotted the strawberry’s with a white pen for the little pips.
The template is from Jamie Moore Cripps on the Silhouette store.
I had some wood left over from another project and thought this would make a beautiful gift.
So lets get Started step by step
Now to finish off the project
Once dried I added the sign vinyl wording and cut out some foliage and a flower using the Silhouette cutter and added them to the top.
I intend added some hooks to the bottom of this project so that it can be used as a key keeper.
A close up of the flower, you can probably see that once the project was put together I sprayed it with Crafter Companion Pearl spray for a touch of luxury.
I bought this wicker heart in the sale at Sainsbury’s and new that I would be able to spruce it up using my Silhouette cutter.
A little bit here
and a little bit there
then turn this.
to this, pretty huh?
I also have been a busy bee and got some more crochet done, a little ladybird and a busy bee for babies photo props.
First up is the Ladybird hat and bum cover.
Such fun will be had photographing newborns wearing these.
next up is the Busy Bee set, this one has a sting in it’s tail.
I know many of you wonder where I get the patterns, truth is they are either free ones or I make them up I think I got the ladybird one from Ravely
More with the Silhouette cutter today.
These little Belly Boxes are so fun and so easy to make up and would be just perfect for Easter treats.
Little Lambkins
Billy Bull
The cow/bull is in the Silhouette store just search Belly Box and you’ll find him and more.
As I said I have been making so many 3d projects and I think this Peony wreath is amongst my favourites, it is another Jamie Moore Cripps design which can be found in the Silhouette Store.
I added some hessian and some additional foliage to the design, and used some distress inks to give it some extra character.
On a dark and cloudy day I was making this Pot of Sunshine, cut using my Silhouette Portrait, the template can be found in the Silhouette store it is one of Jamie Moore Cripps designs.
Sunflower Plant Pot
Such fun to make, everyone that has come to visit has picked it up to look at it ha ha!
As this week was all about resting I decided to create some projects with my Silhouette Portrait, I cut out during the day and glued on an evening whilst watching TV.
I started with this cute little Chapel.
Of course I had to use printable acetate and create some stained glass windows.
I used the cosmic shimmer glue to stick it all together as it has a very good grab an it is quick drying too.
I popped in some fairy lights and left the roof unstuck as I thought it would make a pretty Easter gift box.
I’ve a good few projects to show you but thought that this would be a lovely one to start with.
It has took me some time to get this together, little bits here and there when I was feeling well enough but with the help of Hunkydory Adorable Scorable and Glitter Glaze card stock, My Silhoutte Portrait and the Couture Flower Burst die collection I got there in the end.
Even the center flower was made using the Flower Burst die collection.
I figured you might like to know that the flower was made using a couple of the reflection set dies.
