Would you like?.......

I need your help
As you know, when I'm working with digital stamps I quite often like to drag them to one corner or even add an extra one to an opposite corner of the layout that I'm using on a card, what I would like to know is would it be useful to you all to have that layout all ready to use in a digi stamp square, I was thinking 13 x 13cm square with a grey line border so you know where to cut out the square after printing?
I've added some cards below to give you some examples of what sort of layout I mean, I think 13 x 13 cm would be an ideal size as it means you can still do some layering with contrasting card stock.
Please leave me a comment telling me what you think and if enough think it will be useful I will start adding them to the Just Inklined range.

Hi Jak
Great idea, sizing is awkward sometimes, will make life easier.
Would love some stamps with sentiments on them - brain freeze often sets in.

I think that is a great idea. Anything to help as I am such a novice with the computer.
Your cards are lovely and I really look forward each day to see what you have created. Merry Christmas to you and yours.

Sounds like a brilliant idea Jak. I haven't advanced to digis yet but expect the layout (in your new idea) could be altered after downloading(?). Also are 5x5cm envelopes readily available?

Your samples are beautiful.

Hello Jak, I think it would be a brilliant idea, I for one would use them. It is hard to put two on one card, I was wondering if you used a program such as Photoshop or PSP to do it in? I will await with baited breathe...

Jak that sounds brilliant!

Jak, when I saw your card yesterday I just wished it was ready to print out like that - were you reading my mind? That's very spooky. That's a yes from me. Best wishes, Kym xxx

The examples are gorgeous. However I don't think I would buy the truncated image already set in the square form while I can have the full image and create as many layouts as I want.

Another yes from me Jak.A wonderful idea. You are a clever lady.

Yes yes yes!! A brilliant idea and even if people wanted to use fancy edges they could trim just inside the border but still get a great result.

Great idea Jak. I like to place designs in corners and never know what to fill the rest of the space with and getting things in proportion is sometimes difficult too.

Jilli said...

Stunning!

happyglitzygirl said...

Hi Jak, I think that would be great, but could be expanded on. I like the look of a larger image in one corner and then a part image or a slightly smaller image in the opposite corner, like your christmas flower. I would also like to see an image with a frame. Maybe not even all the way around. I am sure anthing you come up with would be wonderful.Great idea. Blessings Hilde

Hello Jak, that would be a great idea, because trying to do that with digis is always a 'bit hit and miss'. Having it already done would be most helpful. Thanks for the great idea, look forward to that. Luv Ursula XXX

2 thoughts Jak.

1 - I almost exclusively convert all my card to 1/4 fold size rather than square which takes extra postage. That would be a slight rectangle shape

2 - I love the idea of the grey border but would ask that you take 2 things into consideration. Make it a very light gray border, to eliminate ink waste. And perhaps only make it a fairly narrow border, again for ink and paper usage.

Keep up your great ideas and wonderful creations.

I love the images BUT square doesn't work for me in the US.
I coast an added .17 cents to mail and I always get heck at my post office and NO US machine can do square.
