Clicking the views on the way

still clicking

Nearly there, you get always tell by the sight of a church that there is soon to be a village to explore.

This way to the shops...
Now, will my bum get through there?
well it did so follow me to the shops...

We could hear these old boys playing as we entered the main shopping area of Keswick, hey they were really good, little kiddies dancing along and the older folk clapping to the rythmn.

It was Market day at Keswick I love people watching and can amuse myself quite happily just watching all around me.

Even in the hussle and bustle of a shopping street there is still beauty to be found.

As we were returning to the car I took this shot, I don't know if you can see the little specs ay the very top of the hill but there were people up there walking the fells.

I know this area fairly well Jak and it is very beautiful, I am lucky that most of my in-laws stay in the Lake District. Your pictures are wonderful. Hugs Rita xxx
beautiful - you are a really good photographer. Angela xxx
Oh Jak, these photos are wonderful. The mountains and a couple of trees I saw in the distance of the second photo look so much like a much loved jigsaw that I had years ago called Lake Grasmere. I assume Keswick is at that lake?
Beautiful place.
I love the colours on the trees, shows autumn is on the way. Great pics thanks for sharing
The hill with the specs is Latrigg, one of Katie and Craig favourite walks to do. The Calvert Trust take disabled people paragliding in their wheelchairs off the top of there, its awesome to see!!
Great Photo's Jak, looks beautiful,

Beautiful photo's, Keswick is a 40 minute car journey from me, i'm lucky to wake up each day with the mountains to the left and sea to the right. Did you pay a visit to the old Keswickian chip shop? they are delicious especially on a cold and rainy afternoon.
WOW, gorgeous views & photography, Jak!!! Sure different than our desert views here! Since it's still so warm here, these are very lovely to see -- thank you!!!
Your photos are beautiful, Jak, looks like lovely country. I also hope you're feeling a little bit better.

Thanks for the trip Jak. I love seeing the little villages of England and Europe. Haven't been to that area. It is a very long way from South Africa, but would love to visit some day, but love visiting your blog every day.
Hya Jak , Big Thanks for showing these photos. It so brought back such happy memories of my Coach Tour (my 60th Birthday gift) of a Coach Tour of the Lake District, five years ago. What absolutely fabulous scenery.

Glad you enjoyed your day. I live only 12 miles from Keswick, can see the fells from my windows. Lived here all my life and even now I never see the scenery the same twice, it's the most beautiful place to live. Mags
