Sketch Challenge

This is my first Sketch Challenge is was challenged by Em and as she is so sweet I just had to give it a go.
The Sketch to copy from was made by Lynn.
It was nice to have a layout already designed and just to find the right bit to pop onto the design.

I started with a 5"x5" card and used brilliance peacock ink to stamp the PTI butterfly as a background on the card. I then punched out slots along the opening edge on the front panel of the card. I then cut a strip from some brown card stock to weave through the slots, this gave me the 3 squares that were needed for the edge then punched out the blossoms from the same blue card stock as the base card stuck them to the center of the brown squares then dro[[ed a coloured pearl into the centre of each blossom.

Using my scalloped nestibilies I cut out 3 ovals in brown, blue and white and layered them on top of each other.
I used the same stamp as I did for the background to adorn the ovals , and then layered up a sentiment for the bottom of the design.
