Take a Bough

This is a lovely little stamp set by Papertrey Ink called Take a Bough
Stmped in Versafine Black Onyx then gems added to the main bauble with a teeny tiny bow added to the top I used stickles on the leaved and cuttlebugged the the white background with the holly brabch embossing folder then tied it all together with a black ribbon.

I feel a bit of a cheat with this card

The main image on this card was bought exactly as you see it, I've had it a few years and it came fully made up on a sheet of 6 Christmas decoupaged toppers.
So I dusted the cobwebs off it punched a border on some gold card and punched a couple of holes and added the ribbon I finished the card by adding red gems andedging the card with a gold pen.
Now why did I only buy 2 sheets of these toppers?

Black and White Christmas

I have days when I stamp a background and love it then I add a piece to the front and it all goes wrong this was a card I was going to bin, then a lightbulb turned on & I thought I should show it to you all I wanted you to see that I have bad card days too.

So After subjecting you to the bad card I thought I would give you something back so I made a snowflake background for you to use in your cardmaking, if you use the background leave a link in the comments as it would be lovely to see what you make.

Birds of a Feather - Life is a Song

I started with a Aqua Mist base card and embossed the leaf pattern with the Cuttlebug and A2 leaf branch folder. Using the circle Nestabilities I cut 3 circles and on the smallest of the 3 I stamped the humming bird and flower, I used Tombo pens and misted the stamps with water before stamping, this gives the image a watercolour effect then using the same pink shade pen I coloured and stamped the words, I love the clear words from PTI as they allow me to shape then into curves.
I layered all 3 circles with foam pads and added them to the card then added the Aqua pearls to the middle circle, i finished by tying the ribbon I received from Cindy a PTI friend.

Card dimensions; 5.5" x 5.5" or 14cm x 14cm

New York Socialite

Sometimes I like to visit old friends and that is exactly how I feel about this stamp, no matter what I do with it I always end up with something nice it is made by Stamps Happen and is called New York Socialite. The backing papers used is a silk screen scrapbook paper and is double sided made by Papermania.
I stamped the image using coffee bean brilliance ink and watercoloured the image with distress ink.

Floral Punch Craft - Clematis

the base card was stamped using Autumn Leaves Flourish stamps and Plum Pudding ink by PTI then I scored the lines on the bottom half with the Scor-Pal board.
Using the long Nestabilities I cut out the rectangle base for the flower and stamped with PTI sentiment and flourish and added a couple of gems.
I then glued the scalloped shape directly onto the card and wrapped the ribbon around the centre of the card then added the plain rectangle with foam pads.
Last but not least I made the floral punch craft Clematis and added it to the front of the card.

Punches used;
Mega giant Dahlia, large daisy, medium sparkles, small sparkles, mini sun & large oak leaf
