The Gift

Well I’m not sure about you but I get so much more pleasure in giving a gift, to watch the faces of excitement at what will be inside, my Mam often used to say this to me when I was young but I never really understood it until I had children of my own.

Now this fellow is gorgeous with his wrapped up gift tucked firmly under his wing.

Remembering Dad

So here we are 3 years on, I still think about Dad every day, there is always something to remind me and it is often humorous, he had a wicked sense of humour.
As you know I have been enjoying looking through the old photos and I thought what better way to remember him that to make a mini digital scrapbook album. The music on it is something he used to sing at the top of his lungs on a Sunday morning when I was still at home.

I made the Scrapbook album using the My Memories Suite, I have to admit that I am hooked.

Candy winner and a card

Another gorgeous image today and then the winner of My Memories Suite.
My card today was made using Handmedowns by Saturated Canary Digis and she’s just so lovely, I I kept the colours simple and added rose trim to soften the appearance of the card

I added some buttons and flowers that my wonderful friend Katie sent me from the US and some pearls to finish.

Oh my Jak - what a wonderful site!!!! This looks like a great product!!!!! And the choices - I could easily spend the whole day on their site alone. And you asked to pick a favorite????? Very difficult, but A Grand Day Pack or Moments of Every Day would be perfect to start scrapping my two beautiful granddaughters. Thanks for this great tip and offer, Jak. Hugs, sharon :o)

Fa la la la la!

I’m not afraid to say that this image took me a while to colour, I love the result I got though, sometimes after I merge a few images ready to colour I look at it for a good while before I start, then once I start I keep taking a break from it and keep walking away and only doing little bits at a time, it seems to stop me from making hasty colour decisions.

So the images used are Charlie Caroling, Maisie Caroling, Victoria Caroling and  Christmas lamp post or you can buy them in a set Ragged Carolers from Mo’s Digital Pencil.

I used the Martha Stewart border punch for the pine needle frame I also used my Copic Airbrush for the background and finished with ribbon, a bell and a couple of pearls
