Through the Trees

Sometimes simplicity just shines through.
i had this Through the Trees stamp set by Papertrey Ink sitting on my desk, i was looking at it thinking I was going to get into an inky mode when I stamped the trees onto the card this happened, I no longer thought getting inky was the way to go.

A simple band of moss coloured card with a white sheer ribbon and a sentiment charm.

Sad Story

Today we went to sign for a new car and in doing so met with a great fellow who was there to entertain the Children of parents visiting the showroom (Magic Mick) now I couldn't resist the opportunity of having my very own magic balloons made up, Mick told us that while he was entertaining some terrible person had stolen his iPhone, they should be utterly ashamed of themselves, this is a guy who was there to entertain the children trying to make an honest living, shame on you that took it.
Anyway mick was so lovely and if you are in the North east and need a children's entertainer for parties or you need a mobile disco then Mick is your man, he can be found at magicredfearn@aol.com
Below is my daughter holding my prized possession from mick.

Delightful Dahlia card

To make this card i used the Delightful Dahlia stamp set, ribbon and card all by Papertrey Ink, the oval punches by Stampin Up a pretty backing paper, Promarkers to colour, Martha Stewart border punch and a bit of love to bring it together.

Attention to detail...

The Delightful Dahlia main stamp was die cut with the matching die set from Papertrey Ink and coloured with Promarkers I cut and coloured and extra flower head and added seed beads to the centre, the Martha Steward deep edge trellis punch was used on the kraft card and ribbon slotted through.
Distressed edges a pretty paper and the Stampin Up oval punches with a couple of pearls added to make the card pop.
