Medallion Card and Gift Tag

I got the Medallion Stamp from Stampin Up and it was just itching to be inked ha ha.
Stamped in the top left corner of a 14 x 14cm card then some pearls added for embellishment.
I decided to make a matching gift tag, the tag is embossed at the bottom with the Victorian Cuttlebug folder then the inkpad swiped over the top to add the colour. I also stamped the top of the tag with the medallion stamp.

Supplies
Medallion Stamp - Stamping Up, Oval Stamp and Punches - Stampin Up, Ink and Ribbon - Papertrey Ink (Shade Berry Sorbet), Pearls from my own stash
Gift tag - Post Office Cuttlebug folder - Victorian

Some pretty pink iridescent pearls dotted on the blossoms.

Spring Moss Satin ribbon and a spring Basic Grey paper with a punched border keep the pink cream and mossy green colour running through out the card.

Snow Dog

I'm suffering with a rotton head cold at the moment and to be honest spent most of the day in bed holding my head, but, when I did drag myself up the snow was once again falling heavy.
I was itching to make a snowman but under strict orders from husband Chris not to step a foot out of the house.
My Daughter Natalie came to the rescue and built me a Snow Dog. Isn't he cute?

A Card from Artist Jim Harker

The story behind the card.
I made Jim Harker the artist at La Pashe a Christmas card and when he opened it he said that he must get around to writing his cards out, So I stamped my feet and said "I expect nothing but a hand sketched card" well, it just wouldn't do to have a shop bought one from and artist would it?

When Jim made the card for me as he passed it to me he said " I thought you might like to make a digi stamp from it to make your own cards and add some colour" So although I had made my last Christmas card (or at least I thought I had) this image was just screaming for me to add some colour.

So here it is, coloured with Promarkers and made into an Easel Card.

I hope I did him proud.
