Trendy Trees - Stampin Up

A card made with the Trendy trees Stamp set by Stampin Up.
I was actually sitting in my craft room testing out a new light fitting whilst making this card.

Did you know that you can get a Daylight Strip Fitting light? I didn't until around a week ago.
It looks like a slimline fluorescent tube and it isn't at all expensive, A 4 foot slimline tube for around £6 I took this picture of the card under the same light, very impressed with it.

Attention to Detail...

I punched the border from the same Kraft card that I used for the base then used the reverse side of the paper and cut a strip and glued this across the top of the border, I then tied a green ribbon around it before stamping the sentiment then stuck this near the bottom of the card.

I left a bit of interest by leaving one of the trees bare, the leaves and the trunks of the trees are separate in this set.

I used a Koi water brush to drag some of the colour from the base of the trunks to add shadow then topped with a bit of glitter to add a bit of bling.

Ingrediants.

Looking for Clues

I made a plain and simple card unlike the wonderful Image by Mo Manning, I love the way mo Captures poise and expression into her images.
Coloured with promarker and mounted onto a DL card the paper is from Papertrey Ink.

The button on the image is tied with a piece of leather cord the white buttons are slotted through a thin white ribbon.

I love this image I reckon it could be bath time for the Pet hence the disappearance.

Project of the Month Blog Hop - Precipitation Inspiration

This is the 2nd of the Monthly Project Blog Hops for Mo's Dream Team

We will hold this every third Thursday of the month , we aim to give you a little inspiration and hopefully a few Oooo's and Awe's along the way, The Dream Team is made up with some of the most talented ladies so be sure to give them all a visit.

The Theme for this month was from Mel McCarthy and is Precipitation Inspiration

I decided straight away that Duck Day would be my Image

I made a penny slide card and drew a cloud and lightening flash to stick on top of the penny slide this slides all the way around the circle.

This image shows how I used Foam pads to lift the front circle and front aperture from the base card, this was so the penny slide could move freely around the card.
