Magic Reindeer Food...

A little gift for a special child, what could be better than some magic Reindeer food to sprinkle on your lawn so that santa's reindeer can guide Saint Nicolas to your house.

Start with a small jam jar and fill with sugar and oats layering in turns until the jar is full to the brim.

Add a belly band to the jar mine is PTI Pure Poppy Topnotch Twill add a little round disc, mine is stamped with PTI birds of a feather and Holiday Wishes and add a frill and a label to the lid and tie with a ribbon my frill was made by cutting a nestabilitie large scalloped circle from Linen Vellum

Now for the label it reads

Sprinkle on the lawn at night

The moon will make it sparkle bright

As Santa's reindeer fly and roam

This will guide them to your home.

Floral Punch Craft - Black Poppy

I Started with a 14 x 14cm olice coloured base card and stamped the floral border (DMC border stamp) in black and also a flourish stamp in the centre I then made a shadowdow by using a white gel pen around the outline of the border.

I made up the poppy and leaves and glued them over the flourish stamping and tied a ribbon around the top of the card to finish.

Floral Punch Craft - Hourglass Flowers

Lots of parts to each one of these flowers starting with 6 petals all to be water coloured and shaded, 1 base to attach the petals to after shaping them, 1 calyx cut and shaped and a stem which I have to say was a tricky little beggar.
The instructions for the flower can be found in Floral Punch Craft VI by Leone Em.
I used a white 15 x 15cm base card and stamped the leaves using Papertrey Ink Beautiful Blooms stamp set I used the oval Nestabilities to cut out the plaque to site the flowers onto and I embossed the top oval with the Swiss Dots folder, I made up the flower arrangement and tied it secure with a thin white ribbon then tied the Spring Moss satin ribbon around the base of the card.
