Leaf & Flower Makers

Woodware Flower and Leaf maker Punches

I punched out the leaves from yellow card stock and shaded themwith chalk inks the flower was punched from a very light pink card stock and buffed the edges of the petals in purple ink, I shaped both the petals and the leaves to give them some dimension.
The spinial vines happened by accident as I had to trim some green card ever so slightly and as I did this the sliver of card a cut away was curling as I trimmed it, I thought it looked quite plant like so added it to both cards cutting more as I needed it.
The border stamp was inked in the same colour that I shaded the petals with.
I cut out an oval shape and heavily shaded the edges then arranged the leaves and flower onto it.

This card was inspired from a card I saw on Peejays blog and loved it. Having had the punches for some time it gave me the push I needed to put them to use.

The leaves started off as a bright yellow card stock I used paintbox fluid chalks to shade in the colouring I needed, then tipped the edges with a gold leaf pen.

Guest Star Stamper Cards

Father Knows Best and a mention from Nichole Heady (Capture the Moment)

I love this set by PTI it has lots of sentiments just perfect for those hard to do Fathers cards and some lovely images to go along with them.

Guest Star Stamper Cards

A fun to make card using PTI Pond Life stamps
Stamped the frog in versamark to create a watermark on the front of the card then cut out an oval aperture. Stamped the tortoise onto white card stock the cut around this and stuck to the front of the card.
The inset picture was stamped onto a piece of card that fit snugly into the inside of the card so that it peeped through the aperture opening, stamped the sentiments and added a couple of clear gems to the corners to finish.

I used the leaf to make a background on this card then added stickles to make it stand out, I cut out 2 large circles one slightly larger than the other and punched out a circle from the smaller of the two, using versamark I stamped the leaf pattern all over this smaller circle to create a watermark then fastened both circles together with an eyelet.

I punched out 3 circles from white card stock and stamped some of the flower heads onto these then arranged them on top of the rotating circle. I then stamped through the hole I created all of the different flower heads and attached a ribbon to the side of the hole, this allows you to rotate the top circle to see the other stamped images, I stuck down the rotaing circle onto the main card then added berry accents and stickles glitter to finish.

You can see from the shot below the other flower stamps in this set when the top circle is rotated they peek through where I punched out the circle.

Using PTI Garden of Life Stamps I stamped 3 of the rose heads down the right hand side of the card then cut around individual petals and raised them slightly to add texture to the card, I then took the same stamp and stamped it onto a seperate piece of white card stock and added the stalk and leaves in a bamboo colour using the same ink and a straight sentiment from the stamp set I curved the sentiment to match the flower stalk, layered this onto matching card stock and added ribbon to the corners, Them using the centre of the flower circles I stamped these in the bamboo ink top and bottom to add contrast, used a little bit of stickles glue to finish.

Although you are only seeing a 2 layered cake we do have another just for cutting but that is just a plain one for cutting up

Here I tried to get you a close up of the top display on the cake

Thank goodness it's done
