I felt so discombobulated last week everything in the wrong place loads of workmen in and out of the house but finally it has all started to come together.
Gus got to work on getting the walls finished.
I soon had the perfect walls again. Mind you Gus makes your ears bleed he talks for England professionally.
Next up will be the kitchen cabinet fitter.
I managed another card, this is a Love You Ewe card
Sheep by Mo’s Digital Pencil it is one of Mo’s early digital images, great for the none slushy type of person in your life.
Very very easy to colour up this one.
perfect for those picnic loving couple too don’t you think?
Not sure quite how I managed to get a card together this week but I have.
Howie Howling by Mo’s Digital Pencil is perfect for a leaving card.
I wasn’t sorry that the builders left today. I had to scrape the dust from my Copic markers to colour this one up.
I teamed it with Basic Grey paper.
Another day another Dollar.
The electrician was in doing a rewiring job for us.
I have more to show you but it will wait until later, it did develop more after the rewiring job.
Well we have started upon a mega task of rising damp in the kitchen.
I took some of these pictures just before I left for work this morning.
We only have a very small kitchen but the walls were crumbling around us.
You can see the mould down by Chris’s legs on the tile grouting, this is Chris yesterday afternoon removing everything out of the kitchen ready for the workmen in the morning.
Thankfully Chris is very good with DIY and made a framework screen to stop all of the dust getting into the rest of the house. This was took just before I left for work.
And this one through the backroom window peeking through the back door.
So this is the view when I returned home from work.
All of the plaster removed and the walls have been treat with a barrier, bless then for adding the kitchen sink back so I could wash up and the oven back so we could cook dinner.
The floor tiles will also come up but the walls need another waterproof barrier painting on them first.
This is the workers stacking the boards that will eventually line the walls
It was so hot and humid today, I think they worked well.
Tomorrow the sparkies come in to do a rewiring job and then a frame up ready for the boards and then the plumber on Wednesday and then hopefully the boards on the wall after that. lastly will be the plasters skimming the walls.
I’ll keep you updated of the progress.
I’m back on track and over the last 3 weeks I’ve lost 11lb in weight, I’m being so good that I’m even surprising myself.
However I thought you might like to see my husband’s (Chris) amazing transformation.
This was took around when we were at the proms in the park.
and this was took today.
It was so funny as he went to put on some old clothes to work in the shed and he came downstairs with these on, they used to fasten under his belly as he was so big they wouldn’t fasten on his waist. Hasn’t he done amazing, I can’t put into words how proud I am of him.
Yesterday was our 27th Wedding Anniversary and we had a wonderful day. Here is a picture of us on our wedding day.
