Summer Sun

 

There's nothing nicer than sitting in the garden with the person you love, relaxing together in the warm sunshine.

We've been out and about choosing taps handles and work tops as the renovations for the kitchen start later this month, then met up with our daughter for a coffee and a quick look at some vintage vehicles down at the harbour sea front.

Well a man can dream can't he, Chris standing next to an Aston Martin.

There was also a firm favourite for the men there a traction engine

Then home for some us time and to relax before heading off to jack's tea party.

Wow it was hot wasn't it?

Jack had a wonderful party and I was so good not picking from the table although I was so so tempted.

We finished our day off with a little walk after our dinner.

I hope whatever you were doing on Saturday that it was as relaxing as our day was.

 

Swinging by…

Another from the Sassy Cheryl digi stamps today,

I love her characters. this one is Swing me a Story Max.

I kept it plain and simple like yesterdays card but without the distressing, the embossed corner was made with my Scor-Pal (my favourite tool)

Coloured with Copic markers and Chalk pencils.

 

We are going to Jacks party at tea-time, can you believe he will be 4 years old on Tuesday, where did that last 4 years go.

Just A Little Hello

I bet you all thought I’d gone AWOL, truth is I came back from Peterborough and I just felt washed out, it was a long drive home and I was shattered.

So back to normal now hopefully and a new card to show you,

Just a Little Hello Maddie by Sassy Cheryl

Coloured with Copic markers and chalk pencils, sentiment printed onto the card along with the image then embossed at one corner, distressed edges then mounted onto a distresses ink card and a little bow and pearl to tie it all together.

 

Entered into the Hats On" challenge at Sassy Cheryl Challenge blog, I never win these things but it is fun trying.

Cards from Create and Craft TV Show

Some of the cards from my Create and Craft TV shows yesterday.

The first is the story book using the Storyteller decoupage. Such a fun gift for a teacher or a child minder.

And the cover book.

 

 

Next up I had to make this one given the my husband is a Firefighter, Fireman sheet from the CD and using the stepper card.

 

So keeping with the serviced here is the Motorcycle Cops, again using  the stepper cards.

 

Lastly one for the I’ve passed my driving test group, The Learner Driver Sheet.

Put Your Best Foot Forward–The Tramp

Sometimes you just need to put your best foot forward and deal with the little upsets that life sends your way, sometimes a card to someone who is feeling like this can just give them the lift they need.

The Tramp from Mo’s Digital Pencil and as I needed a background too I found just the thing at Just Inklined this one is Bramble Lane.

I faded the background image and used pan pastels and chalk pencils to add some colour to it, I kept the focal image in full colour using Copic Markers and chalk pencils.

Those eagle eyed amongst you will notice that I forgot to colour his tie ha ha! that has now been corrected.
