Help if you Can

When I heard that a crafty friend was to shave all of her hair off to help cancer victims because her own Mum was loosing hers through her cancer treatment my thought was just how brave she is.

Dawn Lancaster has a Just Giving Charity page where you can donate and make a difference no matter how large or small the donation.

Here are the pictures from Dawn on her head shaving day.

It doesn’t stop here though, Dawn is also  running two challenges at the moment to try to raise funds the first is on her blog  Dawn's Crafting the second is on The Crafty Pad Challenge blog both challenges have the same theme Breast Cancer Awareness/Think pink.

Although they have the same theme, they are separate challenges with great sponsor prizes up for grabs.

Countdown

Well as may have guessed I’m still having good days and bad with this wreck of a back of mine. Chris has been wonderful, I get a massage each morning with Voltarol which helps immensely.

I seem to be getting lots of pain down the fronts of my legs too like a constant ache, but rubbing seems to help.

Good news is I see my Rheumatologist tomorrow so hopefully I will get a light at the end of a very dark tunnel.

La Pashe has a new release coming which will blow you away, stunning is the word that comes to mind so I’ll get all of the girls to do some sneak peeks real soon.

3 Ryvita with seeds

Sliced cucumber

Halved plum tomatoes

Fat free cottage cheese

Wafer thin chicken

Dinner

Home made chilli con carne

Use the best steak mince and dry fry or use vegetarian mince

Do not add any fat to the pan, there is no need.

I have to admit a cheat here as I use a homepride jar as well as tinned chopped tomatoes, onion and mushrooms to fill it out.

It serves 3 or 4 but I freeze what's left for the following week.

Boiled rice to finish.

No snacks today.
