My New Toy and Blog Candy

I’ve got a new toy from the UK Daylight Company that I can carry with me all of the time, I love working in natural light, not only is it kinder on the old eyes but it also gives true colour which is a must for me. I loved this new toy so much that I also got one for Chris, as some of you know he not demonstrates at model shows so this is ideal for taking with him as it runs on batteries so he never has to worry about a socket point.

Picture the scene, Sunday night Downton Abbey on the TV something I wouldn’t want to miss, normally I would have to down tools whilst watching but with this LED Lamp & Flash light (yes it is also a torch) I can just grab a few pens and what ever I am working on and take it into the front room and colour while watching my favourite TV show.

It boasts 28 x LED's on Lamp and 6 x LED's on Flashlight and packs a mighty punch for it’s size the other main factor for me was it’s weight can you believe it is only 1/2lb or in todays weight tally 0.32kg we are going to keep one of ours in the car for emergencies.
Not only should you have one of these but I’m going to give my followers the chance of winning one of these.

Hippielov–New Company

I found a new digi company, the lovely Krista Smith, this is just one of many that caught my eye whilst searching Krista’s Etsy shop Saturated Canary Digis here I love her flare and styling

I chose Hippielov for my first card and coloured her with Copic markers

I used a spellbinders label die to cut out the image and a Stampin Up designer paper, the scalloped border was made with the Tonic Studios geared lever punch

the finishing touches are the ribbon and buttons

Hanging the Stockings

I love the way the little doggy is waiting for his Christmas stocking to be hanged alongside the childrens.

Hanging the stockings by Mo’s Digital Pencil

Image coloured with Copic Markers and prisma pencils.

The backing papers are last years Marianne Designs.

I made sure that the fire was out before I let the children hang the Christmas stockings, safety first.

The pretty flower is a Marianne die cut and embossed using the Cuttlebug

Could you all keep my beautiful friend Katie in your thoughts please. Both Katie and her family could do with a few prayers.
