Just Inklined to Hop–Red White and Blue–July 4th Independence Day

The theme for this month is red, white and blue (celebration) the project must have these colours anywhere and anyhow and if you wish be for a celebration (not compulsory) Chosen by our host this month who is Toni and that is where the Blog hop starts.

For my project this month I choose One Small Step, very apt I thought and as it is coming up to Grandson Jacks 2nd Birthday it was the perfect card for him.

I decided I could do any other today than the Star Spangled Banner it being July 4th.

Promarker Master Class

Class now Filled

I just popped in to let you know that I have 1 place left on my Promarker Master class to be held on  20th August at Imag-e-nation in Tyne and Wear I thought I would pop in on here just in case you fancied coming along.

It will run from 10am until 3pm lunch and refreshments will be provided.

We will not be making a card, I want to fit as much technique in as possible.

The class will focus on blending skills, colouring skin, colouring hair, shading and shadows and background work.

6 Promarkers and a technique DVD will be included in the cost of the lesson. I was going to do some information sheets but I think sometimes visual is much better to learn from and the DVD will enable people to watch at their leisure and practice.

Poppies

SUMMER set lip to earth's bosom bare,

Sharing in your Sorrow

I’ve had this idea in my head for a couple of days, looking for the image that would fit the card, I knew how the finished layout would look but couldn’t fit the image, then whilst tidying my craft room I came across the stamp set Hopeful Thoughts from Stampin Up

It has been a while since I had stamped and embossed so I really enjoyed doing this, not a Copic or Promarker in sight.
