Help for Katie

It is with a saddened heart that I am writing to ask for your help.

If ever you have drawn inspiration or ideas from my work, downloaded the many freebies that I give away I am now giving you the opportunity to give something back and do some good for a very dear family.

Katie Emmerson Renz married to Kevin with 3 beautiful boys the twins Nate & Will aged 5 and Hunter aged 10 had some news just before Christmas that has rocked their world as they know it.

Katie has been diagnosed with stage 4 Stomach Cancer and is currently undergoing her only option which is Chemotherapy.

Katie is a fellow crafter and is loved within the crafting community.you can read Katie's story on her own blog here but before you leave me I want you to see what all of the dedicated talented artists have designed for the Help for Katie cause.

Project of the Month - Monochrome

Its that time again and this Month's theme for the Blog Hop is Monochrome and our host is Mina and that's is where the blog hop begins.

We will hold this every third Thursday of the month , we aim to give you a little inspiration and hopefully a few Oooo's and Awe's along the way.

I decided to add just a splash of colour to my Monochrome theme to give the image a boost most of the image was coloured with warm greys but I think adding the warm blue shade just makes it pop and gives it a bit of interest.

I made a little bedroom scene and added the clock to show he would be late for college I made a couple of exercise books too.

The design papers are DCWV.

Easel card tutorial

I know I have been asked many times how to make the Easel base card so here it is, a little tutorial video, ideal sizing for the Nice n Easel decoupage by La Pashe, the board I am using is the ScorPal, love this board.

Hatter - Mo Manning

Tea anyone? i love this right down to his little podgy tummy, This is one of a few in the Alice in Wonderland Stamps by Mo Manning, this one is Hatter if you hadn't already guessed and the attention to detail in the image is fantastic.

Do you remember me saying that I'd had a bit of a week at work last week and that Peeta my workmate was trying to steal my thunder. Well here it is a New Star is born I think that Tim Holtz will be quaking in his shoes when he sees our Peeta's Video.
