Just Inklined to Blog Hop - All Stitched Up

The theme this month was chosen by Debbie and that is where the blog hop starts.

we also have a couple of guest designers this Month, Mina and Jeni so it would be lovely if you could pop along and leave them both a comment too.

My image this month for the Just Inklined to Blog Hop is A Little Church in the Snow and it can be purchased here.

I coloured it with Copic markers then added a good sprinkling of the white glittery stuff to set the scene, I did a bit of sewing (against my religion ha ha) in wavy lines adding drop beads along the way, I used the Martha Stewart Pine border punch to frame the image the mounted everything on a light blue card.

Tiny little Aurora Borealis drop beads along the hand sewn stitches.

Next up is Mina who is joining us as a guest this Month and I just know she will have something wonderful to show you.

Marianne Design Creatables - Take Two

I wanted to show you the other frame die from Marianne Design creatables.

The ladies who gave the bluetac tip in the comments yesterday I tested out on the flourish dies and it works well, thanks for that.

Made in exactly the same way as yesterdays card only this time using natural earth tones and a different frame die.

As you can see I used the frame die 3 times 2 for the bottom and the top frame was added with foam pads for to add dimention.

Again if you pop me a comment I will randomly choose a name from the comments for someone to receive this card.

Marianne Design Creatables

Not a stamp in sight.

I desided to give Marianne Design Creatables a whirl and I have to say that the end result is very pleasing. I used the ornate frames and after die cutting I used a teal ink to sponge in the center of the frames I did the flourish with a dark teal card for contrast and then used the ribbon flower dies and slotted sheer white ribbon through the flower.

I layered it all on a cream sqaure piece of card just slightly smaller than the base card. the back frames are glued directly onto the cream card but the center frame was added with foam pads to add dimension to the card.

Pro's for Marianne dies is they are beautiful designs.

Cons are they do not always cut clean through the card and they tend to get sruck in the dies.

So Macho - Strongo the Magnificent

Now if ever you need a fun card for the man in your life this has to be the perfect image and if he happens to be 6 stone in weight wet through then even more so ha ha ha.
Birthday, Wedding Anniversay, Valentines or just because you love him this one will fit every occasion.
The image is Strongo the Magnificent by Just Inklined and he can be purchased here as a digi stamp.
I found myself singing Whispering Grass whils colouring him with copic markers, those old enough to remember 'It ain't half hot, Mum' will know why.
I teamed him with a plaid paper from the DCWV pet designer paper a few buttons a ribbon and a hand written tag then brought it all together with a bit of love
