My Mam's Baby Boy Cards

I need your help!
My Mam who was my inspiration to first making cards informed me today that she thought her card making days were over. she added that she felt that she just couldn't put a card together these days and that she has lost all her inspiration.
the two cards below are cards that she made, one for baby Jack to the parents, the other for myself and Chris as Grandparents.
Now I know I'm bias as this is my Mam but I think she has perfect colour co-ordination and everything she makes is perfect, no raggy edges or anything skewdy whiff.
I would love it if you would leave a comment of encouragement for her, I would hate her to give this all up.

I love this one too, I'm loving the humongous B the striped nestabilities label and the flower that matches perfectly, all finished with some fancy scoring on the base card and a sheer blue ribbon

More Of Jack

Now you will have to bear with me as being a Gran is new to me so you will just have to put up with a few more pictures.
The one below is my favorite up till now, a tender kiss from Grandad my 2 favourite boys together.

My beautiful boy! so precious, I think I'm loving this Gran lark.

Jack meeting his Great Gran who just happens to think he's the cutest kid on the block!

Now this is the life.. wonder which will be asleep first, Jack or Grandad?

Oh how I see this little lad reeling Grandad in and pulling on his heart strings.

A Card for Baby Jack

I made this card using the Sweet Chips chipboard cut out, I just covered it in pretty papers and finished with buttons, ribbon and a little faux stitching.

What a difference one Day makes...
Lauren sent me this picture Friday morning, all of the swelling gone down.

I'm a Gran

I am so honoured to have been birthing partner to Lauren and even more delighted to say that I had the privilege in helping to deliver her baby.

Meet Jack Christopher Anderson
I am delighted to announce that my Daughter Lauren gave birth to a bouncing baby boy.
He weighed in at 7lb 15.5oz and measures 21" he was born today 16th July at 17:29
the picture below was took as 17:32 so the poor little darling was still swollen and covered in goo.
Just look at that head of hair.
Mam and Dad are both doing fine although it was a very long and trying labour and Lauren has lost a lot of blood so likely to need a top up.
And after a little clean up

Snowflakes and Cuttlebug Card

Punched and Cuttlebugged snowflake card.
I started with a blue base card then cut another piece of white card to the same measurements as the front of the card and worked on this, I punched out the snowflakes along the top, this is a little punch I found made by EK Success, isn't it wonderful?
I then scored 2 lines to house the ribbon that I wrapped around and tied into a bow, then underneath the scored lines I used the cuttlebug snowflake A2 folder and embossed the card..
I used the round nestabilities and cut one plain white circle and one blue scalloped circle and stamped the star onto the the white one.
I layered it all together added a couple of pearls, some stickles diamond glitter glue and a pretty blue ribbon.

The base of the white overlay card was embossed with the A2 snowflake cuttlebug folder then I added some stickles diamond glue to some of the snowflakes.

I wanted to show you a close up picture of what the EK snowflake punch does, you can see on this how the center stays flat to the card but you can lift the outer edges to make the snowflake pop.
