Floral Punch Craft - Peony

I've fell in love with this flower, it was made by using an apple punch to create the petals then some pinching and shaping before putting them together, the leaves are made with the grape leaf punch and scoring the veins.

I embossed the base card using the Oval Nestabilities and then cut some in contrasting colours to mat and layer, using the swiss dots A2 folder by Cuttlebug I embossed the bottom of the card then stamped a sentiment by Papertrey Ink and finished by tying a matching ribbon and adding a bow

A closer look at the Peony

Christmas Snowflakes - Stacking Crystals

I used the Stacking Crystals by McGill to create the snowflakes down the side of the card the red and gold snowflakes is a sticky backed material the sentiment is stamped using a Penny Black stamp ( unfortunately I tend to break into song every time I use it ) I stacked this using Nestibilities, I finished off by tying a ribbon around the card.

Floral Punch Craft - Queen Annes Lace

This was a tricky little devil to make, balancing the tiny flowers on the tip of the greens was a great challenge as they kept tipping to the side believe you me there was some choice words flying about. The base card was embossed with stylised flower A2 cuttlebug folder then a patterned paper added to the edge, the rectangles were cut with the Nestabilities dies then a sentiment cut out with a word punch all layered and a ribbon added and tied at the edge and last but not least I added the flower with some glue gel.

A card from a friend

I received this beautiful card from a talented friend Katie whom I met through Papertrey Ink.
It is made in candy colours and is good enough to eat. I love receiving cards from Katie as she always writes me a letter inside which is lovely and makes me smile.
