Friend Card - Lilac's

I used the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder to emboss the base card then tied the ribbon by PTI (Plum Pudding Satin) around the bottom and tied into a knot.
The stamp set used is Blossoms Abound by Stanping Up I started with the branch inked with Papertrey Ink shades spring moss then used the lighter shade Lavender Moon on the bottom lilac then used the plum pudding shade on the top lilac the my friend was also inked with plum pudding.
I layered the stamped images with Plum Puddding and an Olive colouered card stock.
The first card you see is my 2nd attempt at the stamps the one below was my 1st.
I always get Chris my Hubby to comment on the cards and I'm afraid that he wasn't keen on these, but as I liked them I thought I would show you all anyway ( a good example of You can't please all of the people all of the time)

This card was the 1st card I made with the stamp set.

June Blog Hop Card - Acetate

I used the Circle Nestabilities to cut out an aperture from the square card and then cut a smaller scalloped circle from the same card stock, using white card I cut out a matching plain circle.
I stamped all over the front of the card with spring moss ink using the spiral bouquet stamps then using the same stamp set I added a floral design to the white circle.

I cut a piece of acetate 1 mm smaller than the card and added it behind the aperture, I then added the centre circles and cut out another white circle stamped the same as the first and added it to the inside to hide the glue that was holding the front circle onto the acetate.
I finished the card by adding a few pearls some stickles glitter and a satin ribbon.

Friendship Card

New goodies arrived from PTI and I just had to play, I used the beautiful bloom and the new guide line stamp sets.I stamped the flower heads separately and cut them out and mounted them on top of the leaves, I used slithers of green card stock to make the flower stems, I created the pattern on the plum card stock by using the guide lines then stamping the pattern on top of this, added a few pearls to finish
The coloured card stock is plum pudding and the inks are Plum Pudding, Spring Moss and Lavender Moon, Ribbon is plumb pudding all from Papertrey Ink.

My Craft Space

Who lives in a house like this...
Though the door, as you can see it is aptly named ( the box room)
Small but never the less beautiful in my eyes.

This unit sits along ade my desk, it has 2 draws in the top compartment.
The red canisters on the top are tea caddy's but are perfect for pens.

I don't suppose you'll be surprised to see what is in the top draw.

and in the bottom draw...

These shelves are fit directly above my desk.

I love this rail that is fitted above my desk it is a kitchen rail from Ikea and it should have pans hanging off the hooks but I find it perfect for scissors and the likes which keeps my work surface free from clutter.

I've found a home for some of my wood mounted stamps. I still need a few more of these red baskets to make best use of the shelves

This is the top of the unit as you can see my lovely husband has still to move some of his tools (sigh)

This is the bottom of the unit.

As you can see from this image some of my shelves have still to be filled which will not be a problem once I get everything down from the loft. You may also have noticed the step ladder hiding round the corner, I need this to reach some of the shelves.

I hope you enjoyed the little tour
