I think the walk through the Park on Saturday with Jack could of inspired me for the above card, i had a wonderful day with Jack, his mam was on a training course and you’ll find out further down the post just exactly where his Dad was.
Jack was so well behaved and quite mesmerised by the ducks.
Isn’t this beautiful such a pretty plumage.
It was a lovely day and Jack loved feeding the ducks, this was the first time he had got up close to them.
You may well ask what the boys were up to whilst we were feeding the birds, well, the were heading off for a stag do in Blackpool and i can only thank my lucky stars that I didn’t have to go with them.
Oooooh I just love candy floss, it’s years since I’ve had any and this image just makes my mouth water.
Cotton candy is by Digital Pencil Too and can be purchased here
Coloured with Prisma Pencils on Kraft card and teamed with Bo Bunny papers some matting and layering onto teal coloured card and a prety ribbon.
Oh I nearly forgot, check out my own cotton candy embellishment made with cotton wool wrapped around a cocktail stick then spritzed with a pink ink wash…. cool eh?
It had been so long since I did a full Prisma pencil colouring and sometimes it is god to revisit old techniques that I really enjoyed making this card. I blended the colour with the white pencil and my finger rather than using the usual method of gamasol or baby oil.
The image is called New Love and can be found at A Day for Daisies .
I also used a Papertrey Ink polymer flourish stamp from the With Sympathy stamp set and heat set it with white detail embossing powder and blended the edges od the card going over the heat embossed detail with aqua ink.
Ribbon and pearls and a bit of love brought it all together.
A close up image

A Mothers Day Verse
I said a Mother's Day prayer for you
to thank the Lord above
for blessing me with a lifetime
of your tenderhearted love.
I thanked God for the caring
you've shown me through the years,
for the closeness we've enjoyed
in time of laughter and of tears.
And so, I thank you from the heart
for all you've done for me
and I bless the Lord for giving me
the best Mother there could be!
Isn’t this such an angelic image by Digital Pencil Too, I kept the card clean and simple as I thought the image needed all the attention, If you love Em but needed a boy image then don't worry as Mo has this covered with John and Cal.
I used Copic Sketch markers to colour my image, a scallop edger punch some gingham paper, flowers, a couple of pearls, a ribbon and a bit of love to bring it all together.
My second angel is my Grandson Jack, we found Natalie's old Yamaha keyboard in the loft and boy did he tinkle those ivory's, in fact my ears are still ringing now.
Elton John eat your heart out, just look at him go.
I've been itching to show you all this.
As most of you know over the last 6 month or so my husband Chris took up model making and I have to say that his last model is fantastic, it is a row of shops with a public house on the corner.
He wasn’t happy just making a basic row of shops so he altered the model and made it look like the Fish and Chip shop was on fire, ok he did use my Copic Airbrush to make it look smoke damaged but as it is so brilliant I’m going to forgive him this time round.
I made a video of it because I wanted you all to see the special effects that he has made to go inside of it.
Some close up shots of the Model.
If you click on the pictures you will get them to full size and see even more details inside of the shops (fittings and all).
I would love it if you could all join in our blog hop today for Just Inklined and leave some love in the form of a comment on all of the girls blogs, as we have some hidden spot prizes which you may win if you do.
So today I choose the theme of CAS (clean & Simple) Sometimes we get carried away with embellishments so I thought this would be a refreshing change.
