Wonderous Gift

Ohh I enjoyed making this one, I masked of the square with a lowtack masking tape then blended the navy ink with a sponge and then stamped the tree from Stampin Up (Wonderous Gift) in the same navy ink. I then left the masking tape in place and sprayed inside the square with Crafters Companion Glitter spray, it is very quick drying.
I then removed the tape and scored around the square to create a border, added a few white pearls to the tree, stamped out the sentiment from the same set and added a few blossoms and leaves.

This close up shows you just how sparkly the glitter spray is.

The only down fall to it is you either need to go outside to spray or make sure you are in a well ventalated room.

Floral Craft - Violas

It has been so long since I did any Floral Craft that I thought I might have lost my touch but I managed to grab a couple of hours free time so I sat down and went to work.
I love Violas such a pretty little flower and to make them from scratch was a challenge trying to capture there likeness.
I used a small pear punch, a mini sun punch, a medium Japanese Gingko punch and a medium birch leaf for the flower and a deep purple marker to add the centre veins to the petals.

Hope you like this.

I coloured the image with Copics and used DCWV Papers to match my colours lots of layering a ribbon and buttons and a bit of love to bring it all together.

Attention to detail...

I layered the patterned paperd with the brown card to make it pop amd a few buttons dotted here and there, you can see from this shot all of the layering.

Trinitage Pop Up Card & Instructions

I hate the fact that the pop-up is inside cards which often leads to me scratching my head on what to do with the outside, I used the rectangle pieces from the Trinitage Sheet to decorate the outside so that when the recipient of the card opens the envelope the card still looks pretty from the front.
I've took lots of views and even given instructions of how to make the pop-up.

The side view of the Trinitage pop-up.

Front view of the opened card. this would sit perfectly on a shelf mantel piece or a window ledge.

How it's made

The Baking Shelf

This image The Baking Shelf just ooozes home for me, my Mam is the most amazing cook, and Sunday mornings when I was at home was a big baking day, Mam made all of our bread and we had bowls of rising dough all over our house on that day, cakes, fruit tarts, scones, meat pies, coconut haystack oh and a jelly jubilee which was the cup cake with the top dipped in jelly then rolled in coconut then sliced in half with a good dollop of fresh cream in the middle, mmmmmmm.
The digital stamp The baking Shelf can be bought here.
